HAHAAHA  Australia have a Dark Alliance demo for free.

Go into Harvey Normans to get your free copy. It should be out in the next coupla days.

Any one anywhere else heard about this?

Australia has PAL right??

It means it will work here in Europe aswell!!

can\'t you just hook up with someone from Down Under and have them send ya a copy, or will it still not work do to territorial region crap stuff

It\'s not just the territorial lockout (which the game might not have, being a demo and all) but the TV format is diffrent, so you actually need a European PS2 to play it, or some really complicated mods on your console.

Question for those who have played the demo:
How are the graphics as far as borders and all that crap you PAL gamers get put through?

I hope you\'re not getting screwed as usual...

We get the demo in a few days. We have to pre-order it from Harvey Norman(large games/electronics retailer). When it comes we just pick it up for free :)

Yep it still works..
Cuz I read over at au.playstation.com that the australians can import games from the UK and play them..

Of course its gonna work.

There are 3 "regions"

Japan
USA
And PAL - Pretty much the rest of the world (Europe, Australia, New Zealand, and I think Africa)
