Title: Flashing banner making anyone else blind???
Post by: QuDDus on October 16, 2001, 09:33:09 PM: Well that banner that keep on clicking that says if this banner is clicking you\'ve won. It clicks like 30 times ever seconds almost made me go blind.

The best way for Bjorn to make money and I mentioned this a year ago is to make a coupon section and get referals from us buying games over the internet. He could very easily make a page to EB, outpost, buy.com, etc and have us click on his referal to get to their sites. Then he makes money if we buy stuff. There are a lot of coupons out there for companies that sell PS2 games mailorder. No reason why this site can\'t help us track them down.

This popup crap is just plain stupid. It doesn\'t only pop up once. It pops up every time I click on a thread.

By the way, I don\'t think the pop-ups will make you blind, but there is scientific evidence that beating off will do it. You may want to tie your hands behind your back for a few days and see if your vision clears up.:D

The EZBoard owner himself will start flamewars with people complaining about their increasingly invasive popup barrages, holding features hostage for paying customers (your board is now censored if you don\'t pay), and basically telling you live with it or go to hell. I don\'t like a company telling me that.

But here, Bjorn\'s our pal, so I\'ll click popups for this place.
