Hi,
Can anyone tell me what the R1 & R2 buttons are used for in Red Faction? And are they re-configurable if it\'s for anything really important?
Thanks, an accident has left me unable to quickly use these buttons - Extermination was unplayable :( and I don\'t want to waste more cash on other games I can\'t use properly..
Cheers :)

Fire: R1
Alternate Fire: R2
Use: X
Jump: L1
Crouch: L2
Holster: D-Pad Left
Reload: TRIANGLE
Next Weapon: CIRCLE
Previous Weapon: SQUARE
Fine Aim Mode: D-Pad Up
Center View: D-Pad Down
Message Log: D-Pad Right
Walk/Sidestep: Left Analog Stick
Pitch/Turn: Right Analog Stick
This is the default control method A, though you can choose from many different set ups. Hope this helps a little.

Thanks for youe help, it doesn\'t look good unfortunately.. Damn! it looks as if all developers are using those buttons for firing.. that\'s me out then.
Beginning to feel like I\'ve wasted 300 quid :(
-
That´s sad to hear ! :(
Is there no way around those two buttons... maybe if you know someone who can do some electric stuff and build you something ?!
-
ill need to have a look, but Im sure some of the other control set ups allow for different firing set up.... will let you know soon

What happened to where you can\'t use the R1 and R2 buttons

No fingers on the right, makes it a bit difficult to reach em. The thumb does all the work (as the actress said to the bishop).

Thats unfortunate man, that happened to my dad like a month ago, he got 3 fingers on his right hand cut off, I feel for ya because I\'ve seen what my dad is goin through

Niether, Wolves if anything but to be honest I haven\'t followed league footy in ages.. I\'m just satisfied if I get to see a game at all! Allways watch the England games though, through thick and thin.
Suppose I\'m what you\'d call a part-timer
Who do you support then? ;)

I was just thinking the other day about the no fingers control issue.
I saw here (http://www.nintendojo.com/infocus/view_item.php?1003347121) that a company is making a glove controller that works with a few systems, including PS2. Anyway, if they make a lefty version, that might be of interest to you. Check out the link for more, but here\'s a quick synapsis.

P5 provides gamers with an ergonomically designed glove-like device, which controls the fast action in 3D game software through diverse hand gestures. Pull your trigger finger in 3D space and the on-screen gun shoots in real time. Flick your fingers away and a game character is thrown against the wall. Lift your palm and an animated helicopter slowly rises into the air.
P5 uses the latest in Essential Reality\'s proprietary bend sensor and tracking technologies to enable full interaction with a 3D environment. Fully USB compliant, P5 will be compatible with Macs, PCs and next-generation gaming systems, including PS2 and Xbox.
