I talked to a Japanese guy.. He says you can download DivX video files and view them on your TV..

Finally.
Now we can all type commands into linux (a network operating system for our standalone PS2s).
I can\'t wait.
Sod all PS2 games. Linux here we go. :D
EDIT: Im I the only one who thinks linux should stick to the PCs. I don\'t see whats so exciting about having it on the PS2.

It would be neat to download videos to it..
Thats what I\'d use it for..
(cuz my PC does not have a TV-out port)
But yes.. OS:es should stick to PCs :)
(Oh and Linux was not made for PS2.. Thats why it uses about 31MB of PS2s main Memory..)

You\'re supposedly able to make your own PS2 games with the Linux Kit.
