Wuhooo, after all online gamestores had run out of stock, I headed to my local Curry\'s (well 50 miles away). I couldn\'t believe they had four of them on the shelf!! I\'d previously checked Dixons and Comet to no avail. Well the thing works a charm, one bad point, the IR Reciever is massive! Why didn\'t they just make it the same size as a controller plug, then it would match.
I am in UK by the way

I bought one the other day but I haven\'t used it yet. Its still sealed and sitting their awaiting a DVD rental
-
It comes with an upgrade for the DVD driver, right? What\'s it do? Fix the shift problems for predominantly white scenes? Improve display?

Don\'t wait for just any rental ddaryl...PURCHASE Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within...you won\'t regret it!!! As you might be aware, it came out today!!! And if you have a local Best Buy, you might also know that they have it on sale for $19.99. Another great purchase made today along with my TRU treasure trove of games!!! :D

Yeah it comes with the updated drivers, just pop the cd in, and upload the them onto the memory card, easy. I never had any issue\'s with dvd playback anyway so I don\'t know if it fixes anything. I heard it fixes the Toy Story 2 problems though. Great little remote

That\'s all you have to do? Just pop in the cd and save to the memory card? I thought you had to do someother things also.

I know that it had a problem with double-sided Disney movies before...and now it doesn\'t, but I don\'t know of any other fixes. I\'m sure there are some good ones.

I got mine about a month ago in NZ. Its easily the best remote out their. Just pop the disk in. load the drivers and your away.
ddaryl - no, i dont think it has those extra PS2 features they mentioned. I thought they said they are releasing 2 versions, one with them and 1 without.

Alot of buttons and you get confused when you sit in a dark room :)

I\'ll wait fo rthe special edition then.
I don\'t buy many DVD\'s. In fact I only own 1 and its a Grateful Dead show in Pittsburgh of 1990
I was at the show so its really cool

Sounds good.
Does the new drivers stop DVD region X from working ? I don\'t have that but its always handy to know.
Probably won\'t get either products as I don\'t watch that many DVDs.

It did at first, but Datel updated thier codes so now the Region X works fine with the new drivers
