Why does LM keep getting such high scores? Is it actually good?
People bashed the hell out of it after the Japannesse launch, and it was generally regarded as the worst launch title. Yet, somehow, all of the reviews I\'ve seen so far give it a very positive score, and pretty much trash Wave Race.
What\'s going on?

I think the nintendo name and tradition are getting it the ratings not the actual game. What the hell do you do in that game anyway?

What the hell do you do in most other games? IMO Luigi\'s Mansion looks like the worst title of the bunch, and I can see how it may become repetitive, but I find that about many games. For example, I don\'t know how someone can keep playing football games. IMO you look at a table, pick something, press and button, and hope your guy runs faster than the opponent. Anyways, I\'ll rent it, but wouldn\'t buy this Luigi game. I heard its great the first time through, but you won\'t feel like playing it again.

I\'ve gotta admit that\'s pretty funny. But anyways from what I\'ve heard Luigi\'s Mansion was just a big waste of time. Seems like the only good game out of the bunch is Star Wars, but to bad I hate Star Wars games. I still think X-box has a better launch this season because NGC really only has Luigi\'s Mansion ( repetitive gameplay), Wave Race ( better looking N64 game) and Tony Hawk which I\'ve already got for PS2. So I guess the BIG N isn\'t looking too BIG after all. I think they should take after Sega and just go third party. :D

Thank you very much for posting those collection of reviews. I knew that EGM was way off base with their reviews. But, I lost respect for them years ago...
The games I plan on getting initially are Luigi\'s Mansion, Rogue Leader, and Tony Hawk Pro Skater 3. With Pikmin and Super Smash Brothers Melee soon to follow.
