And you my friend are an idiot. These are bad screen captures, not HDTV quailty one\'s like the others, so, they are bound to look bad anyways. DOA3 looks slightly better then DOA2 on DC, not really, there is a difference, in poly count, bigger levels, more detail added to the levels, and a bunch of other crap I\'m not even going to mention.
DOA3 will destroy DOA2 anyways. I like the fact that they included more then 1 boss in the game, and that it is not as easy to pick up and play. Takes more time. Btw, the game isn\'t a button masher, just go to TXB, and read shockwave\'s hands on preview of it.

They are just not the 800 x 600 like they always release, but the real TV 640 x 480 resolution, and thats what most of us will be playing it. BTW can u give em a link where it says that doa3 supports HDTV

Bull****, Doa 3 is doa2 with a FEW gameplay enhancements. Its still the cheapest easy to pick up shallowest fighhter out there. Al you do is counter, counter and counter. I havent seen any REAL combos either except for the PPK string attacks. Gimme tekken or VF anyday over doa3

IMO, the pics look fine. They did look a lot better when they were really big though. Like Metal_Gear_Ray said, most of us will be playing on normal TVs, not HDTVs. So most of us will be seeing these graphics.

Fighting games are supposed to be 2 player games, not games you play by yourself. Who cares if they have another boss? It won\'t make the gameplay any better, and it won\'t make playing single player any funner.
and that it is not as easy to pick up and play.
Hmmm...I\'ve got a few quotes that prove what you just said wrong.
http://xbox.ign.com/news/39300.html
Gameplay-wise, hardcore students of DOA2 will be relieved that they won\'t have to relearn the basic system they\'ve mastered, but for novices to the game DOA3 will allow them to easily pick up the game and deliver a decent challenge their first time around.
http://www.gamespy.com/previews/august01/doa3/index2.shtm
But what we found really surprising was how easy the game played.
And a quote from Itagaki himself from that last link:
Other games are too straightforward; they require a lot more knowledge to learn the moves. Learning and mastering DOA 3 is more natural for the player.
From the December issue of EGM.
BUT YOU MIGHT NOT LIKE IT IF...you\'re expecting groundbreaking innovation. Fighters will be fighters, and while the graphics in DOA3 are certainly unparalleled by any other in the console market, the game-play is still very similar to that of DOA2: Hardcore for the PS2. It\'s mostly more of the same but much snazzier.

DOA3 is much prettier, but the Tekken series has superior gameplay. Most of us weren\'t overly enamored with DOA3. It looks great, but it plays practically the same as DOA2. According to one of our most skilled fighting game players on staff, Jeff Gerstmann, it\'s not the type of game that hard-core fighting game fans will get into. Take that as you will. Miguel seems a bit more upbeat than Jeff, however. He claims that DOA3 takes second place only to Soul Calibur for the best 3D fighting game ever made. Miguel wanted to make sure that I let you know that the comparison doesn\'t include arcade games, and he considers games like Virtua Fighter 4 to be superior.
Sorry for bringing back an old topic by posting all that stuff, but I couldn\'t let him get away with saying that. :)

Give us a link. I don\'t even know what TXB is.

TeamXbox, followup to MSXbox. I used to mod their forum. Essentially the biggest Xbox-only site online.

Oh. I go to TeamXbox about twice a month. It just didn\'t click that TXB stood for Team Xbox. Thanks.
EDIT: Ok, I just read that guys preview of the game. What the heck? By the sounds of it, he hasn\'t played a DOA in his life before DOA3. I kept on expecting him to say, "BTW, I haven\'t played DOA2, so I can\'t compare it to that." Just read it to see what I mean.
The article also has some movies at the end. And no, this is not a link to the "you are an idiot" page. I promise. :)

EDIT EDIT: Ok, I downloaded the movies and now I KNOW that he\'s never played DOA before. Just watch the movies, especially the one with the boss in it. :) It\'s pretty funny. He knows one move pretty well though -- "jump." :D He does it all the time for no reason.

thanks IronFist for the link. Sounds like the same crap I read just before DoA2 was released. I know I fell for it.
-
Bahahaha... Sorry DarkGamer... I rest my case.... Read all the above... And yes.. I know all that extra crap.. Graphics and all... But you wouldn\'t really notice a difference.. Not too much at all...
Gameplay hasn\'t changed... All the same... Really boring...:D

You got me there dude, I knew that was coming, but, I lost, so what, i can\'t debate worth a ****, when it comes to video games. You won. anyways, carry on.

What\'s up GAMES? Its good to have you back. Btw, the screens still look good, but they look tone down alittle bit or something.
