Every single time I boot the computer, it says my system registry is bad, and so it restarts and loads an old back up, but anything that I install onto the computer disapears when it loads the old backup (which looks to be about 1 week ago, when I installed a new videocard)
I DO I FIX THE REGISTRY???

Where is the registry? Go to your Run dialog and type "regedit".
How do you fix it? Hell if I know...
Try running Scandisk, after it scans your drive, it may come back with a message saying something about the registry, and offer to fix it for you. Try that.

Registry? Just delete the whole thing.. hehehehe..

How the fudge di you manage to fuXor up your registry? did forget to uninstall the old vid card drivers or something?

What OS do u have? As long as it\'s not Win2k shutdown to DOS and do this:
C:\\>scanreg /autoscan
That should scan and automatically fix any errors in your current registry. I know that will work for 98, but not 95 and not sure about ME. Your best bet is also to uninstall any video drivers you got installed now and downloaded the latest, STABLE drivers available.
