He has now changed his name, and he was waiting to become a wise member before he chose a new pic. You\'ve been here for a month, he\'s been here for a year. Do your research before you attack a senior member.

Actually, I dont know what I was thinkin.. I have him confused for someone else and dont know how hiis name slipped out..opps.

It\'s great for overly paranoid people who want to freak out about every little ping to your IP address. Other than that it\'s just a pain in the butt. 99.99995% of pings to your IP address are harmless, but it tells you about all of them. Yawn.

BlackICE Defender has been proven to be NOT as effective as many other firewall products. My main complaint with it is that whenever Microsoft releases another security patch for Windows, it usually screws up BlackICE until NetworkICE can issue a revised version. If you like using Windows Update frequently, and you install all the MS security patches, you\'ll notice this problem very soon. I agree with Samwise that ZoneAlarm is a much more solid product, and it\'s FREEEEEEEEE. :)
