Call me a late bloomer but just watched CTHD for the first time last nite... Anyone know if there are any games based on the movie or at least that fighting style? that would be sweet.
also-
just finished ICO. I could play a hundred titles by that company-with that engine... anyone heard of a sequel? ( or 2, or 10?)

Some things should be sacred and not be made into video games. CTHD should be left alone!

Donkeys on the other hand look too good to leave alone!

Sorry but I think CTHD is one of the most overrated movies ever. It\'s in the same catagory as The Matrix...
It seems it has become fashionable to overhype these two movies.
I\'ve seen a lot better kung fu movies than this one.
My biggest gripe with the movie is that I think they used too much wires in CTHD, even my grandpa could make a cool scene with all those wires and ****.
If I wanted to see people flying I\'d rent Superman.
Just my two cents...
*goes off to watch the end scene of Legend of Drunken Master for the 100th time*

CTHD = pompeous martial arts filmmaking at its finest
its like saying DBZ is great anime
drunken master aint far behind, rent "fist of legend" for a real martial arts films
-
yeah fist of legend kicks ass... but Legend Of Drunken Master has some of the finest fights ever IMO... Story sucks balls of course though.
I like Jet Li but I got more respect for Bruce Lee and Jackie Chan.
-
If there was a CTHD game I would problay fall asleep during the intro story like I did during the movie!

I don\'t know about all this new Martial Arts stuff, I mean, I come from the days of Bruce Lee. I don\'t think I\'ve ever enjoyed anyone\'s martial arts as much as his. As for CTHD, what really appealed to me was the viscious sword play. Sure there\'s a fantasy element in there that folks don\'t dig with all the flying, but if you go back to martial arts movie history, you\'ll find that stuff like this started and has permeated martial arts films long before CTHD popularized it for a US audience... it\'s just now that that\'s happened, it\'s suddenly not cool.
I liked it, it was well done for a movie that wasn\'t written to be specificly a martial arts film.
-
well i think the movie was well done and i liked the fighting style but my fav kung fu movie has to be either
The Legend or Legend of Drunken Master - heheh dang those kung fu movies all have legend in em somewhere
-
Bruce Lee was the best. I got Enter the Dragon on DVD and it\'s the best Martial Arts film IMO. I don\'t know what the big deal is with the Matrix. I got it on DVD but after watching it 4 times I haven\'t watched it in ages. It\'s a good movie but not amazing. Nice eye candy, but so many other movies have that these days. What happened to Vandamme\'s career. He released a movie direct to video! I think it\'s called The Replicant? He\'s movies suck preety bad! The only one I like is Time Cop, the rest is same old bul**** all over again.

Two words: IRON MONKEY
-
THEN THERE\'S ALWAYS THE WU-TANG VS SHAOLIN...
NOT ONLY CAN THEY FLY, BUT BURROWING UNDERGROUND AND THOUGH PEOPLE.
CLASSY.
-
Yea yea. Now it\'s so cool to hate CTHD.
-
I liked CTHD..
Good to get away from those cheap ass Holywood movies sometimes.. :D
