Yeah, and I\'m just keeping my PS2 and not getting any newer consoles at first. But we will both still be winners, nomatter what our main console is. :)

even then, in the early 90\'s they probably said Nintendo would win the generation.

In the 32-bit they probably said Sega.

The thing is, nobody can really tell.

I am running win98, and 640x 480 makes everything big and nice. 800x 600 doesnt even fill the complete space of the computer screen, 1024x makes everything way too small and gives it a weird look.

Mine is 17" and 16" viewable.

I set mine monitor to 1024 x 768 resolution because it looks sharper in high resolution. It runs at 75 hertz per second because of the flickering that I sees. How fast does your monitor runs at? 60hz? 120hz?

Altered, I don\'t see how anyone can do anything with a resolution that big (or that small, depending on how you think of it). Don\'t you have to scroll left and right on the internet just to be able to read the pages? And using any graphics, programming, or any other program would be extremely hard IMO in that resolution.
