Grrrrrrrrr..... I died more than 5 times against this terd.... What\'s an easy way to beat him?
How do you fight him?
I fought him for a while and after I died 5 times I realized you can hit L1 and give him some major damage... And then I drained about half of his life.... Before I died....
Help.... Ahhh... I\'m so close to the end... I can feel it!:D

Enter the fight with about 10 Devil Stars.
Take out his shield and then hit L1. Wait for him to hide behind his shield again and repeat the process. You should be able to knock him down after using 3 or 4 Devil Stars.
His 2nd form is kinda easy. Just keep moving and attack whatever gets in your way until your Devil Meter is fully charged. Transform, hold R1, and then start blasting away at him.

Why ruin it for him? If he didn\'t know there was a 2nd form, you just spoiled it for him.

No it\'s ok... I beat him like 20 mins after I posted this... Then I thought he was done for when suddenly......
"Noooooo!!!! Again!"
Then I died...:D Should I even try to jump on those ledges in the lava?
Oh and.... What do you use to "blast away at him"? I used the grenade launcher and I did some hurtfullness with that... and then I would switch to handguns and just shot real fast to get my devil meter back up...

easiest way, buy a few purple orbs cuz u do a lot more damage with higher dt n about 6 devil stars should do the trick. u can do a little damage by shooting regular shots directly into his chest but hardly any and it\'s super hard to aim and avoid the shots at the same time.

btw isn\'t it weird how capcom comes up with last boss names of their action games.
U\'ve got a demon king named fortune-bra n a devil emperor named moon-dus(sounds like an ass)

You can only cause damage to him once you transform into your devil form. Use Devil Stars to do so, or attack whatever Mundus sends out to attack you in order to fill up your Devil Guage.
Once you transform, hold down R1 and rapidly press the X button. If something gets in your way while you\'re attacking, simply move around it to a place where you can get a few more clear shots in.

Question: What should I be attacking... Cause I see all of those little black balls everywhere...

Attack the spheres (or the lava snake thing) to build up your devil guage.
Then, to damage Mundus, attack the glowing thing on his chest (if I remember correctly).

The EASIEST way to beat the second form is to get up close to him on the closest block, go into devil form, and use your sword. You guys have to check it out -- the sword actually grows extremely long when attacking in the final fight (a must see!). It kills him about 10x faster than using that crappy fireball throwing move.

U only need about 3 Devil Stars to take out Mundus in form 1 and you don\'t have to destroy his shield to use your Trigger.
Form 2 is very hard for me. All those shots are hard to dodge. Attacking the spheres will load your devil trigger gauge. Killing the fire dragon will give you a green orb. U can only damage Mundus in devil form. and if you\'re standing it doesn\'t matter what weapon u have equipped, Dante throws red fireballs.

Oh wait... Make that 2 questions: How do I dodge that huge attack he gives me?.... Where this thing spins over his head... Then he releases the big fireball attack..... I can never dodge it!

Ocasionally, a dragon will come out of the lava and try to kill you. It comes from the left side. It gives you a green orb that heals you a lot if you kill it. But I\'m telling you, don\'t bother killing him that way. Just get up to Mundus on a platform, go into devil form, and slash him with your sword. I killed him with the fireball throwing attacks the first time through, but the second time through my younger brother told me that slashing him is a lot easier and faster. He was right. :)
You dodge the energy attack by double jumping away from it. It is hard to get the timing right, but it is possible. And you won\'t have to worry about this if you do the slashing method. He\'ll be dead before he has a chance to do it. If I were you I would bring a Invincible star. It will make it even easier. :)
