From the honest opinion of a long time gamer, I don\'t think the numbers and Tech info on these game consoles really matter to anyone but people who want to debate like techno-dorks. The only reason you would feel like your console "Lost" any type of "war" is because you only had enough money to buy one of them & all the games you wish you could play are released on the other.
The X-box, the PS2, the GameCube they are all in the same weight class. A few more numbers here & a bit more power there doesn\'t really matter. If the Awesome graphics are used for a shuffle-board game, then it\'s been wasted.
I love the whole Video Game industry and I hope they all make enough money to support their families!!!!
I will buy whatever I think will be entertaining, and I won\'t feel like I let someone down for buying another console.
I currently own a PS2 and I love it. ;)

Heck....I still play PSX on a regular basis. Too many great games i missed out on!
I\'m not quite a graphics whore. But...I understand that with these newer consoles, better graphics is expected - though not necessarily a priority. Even casual gamers will forgive a jaggy game for fun factor.
