I was at my local E.B when the guy that works there starting telling me how cool the gamecube was, I asked him where he played it and he said it was in a CD store called "Sam Goody", so the manager of my E.B (Im friends with him) and I walked into the store. When we got there we saw a PS2 with Devil May Cry on it, an Xbox with a normal music CD in it and a black Gamecube with a demo disc on it (btw there were tons of demodiscs that you could take home "Free!").
My friend played Luigi\'s haunted mansion, and this game is so freaking awesome looking, it looked like a Toy Story movie.
I a Star Wars Demo, i forget the name of the game, its the one like starfighter, the controller feels just right, nothings wrong with it. And the game itself looks awesome, it runs way smoother than Starfighter on PS2. The System itself is nice and small.
But the best looking game I saw on it was definetly wave race, although the actual characters look kinda weak, the overall feel is awesome, you can actually see each rain drop making a splash in the water, and if you just stare at the water you can see turtles and stuff swimming through! Awesome Detail!
As for the Xbox, after looking at the Gcube, the Xbox looks like a ****ing VCR. But that doesn\'t really matter I guess, what does matter is that since I wasn\'t able to play any games, I was able to feel the controller. The controller is too thick, and the "A,B,C,D" buttons are way to close, people are gonna have a hard time not hitting all of them at once while playing.
If anyone has any questions, or wants a Gamecube demo disc let me know, i\'ll steal some! *GR81 is very sneaky* teeheehee
errr. yeah.

Hehe, yeah, I played it last weekend Saturday and Sunday.(GC that is) The "Star Wars" game is Rouge Leader. I\'m really amazed you haven\'t heard of it before. It has the best graphics on any system yet! The demo level in it just doesn\'t show the power. It took place on the surface of the death star in the first half, and the second half is the DS Trench, which, you must shoot a missle down the hole just like in the movie! It\'s complete with "The force is strong with this one" when Darth Vaders\' ship flies in, and "Use the force Luke!" when you are about ready to fire a missle into the DS! I couldn\'t figure out how to get the vacuum in Luigi\'s Mansion to work, so I skipped it. Wave Race kinda bored me, but the water was sure nice to look at! Pretty!
The demo discs are free for anyone at almost any store, so you don\'t need to steal some, k? :D

I got to play the Xbox at my EB. It was some game where it has a bunch of different little games you can choose from and it\'s 4 player. It was ok.

C\'mon Kirath, stop covering up. We all know that GC is for you. :)
And Luigi\'s Mansion looked like Toy Story? I won\'t...

If the X-bauxen and the GameKube were the same price I would still be getting a Gamecube.
X-box is not even in consideration.
