I just got my geforce3 ti 200 and when I was putting it in my friend ( who doesnt know anything about computers) pushed on it ,when I said dont touch it, and he broke off one of those little black cylinder shaped thingies ( i think they are called capacitators). But my video card is still working. But alot of people told me that I could have had a major performance loss. Will someone tell me what should i do and if i should try to return it for it a new one.

I would return it.. Tell them it was like that when u opened it.... They can make it sound like it was shipping damage.
As for the part that was damaged. That can cause to much, or little power going through the gpu or other parts.. Meaning more damage, Or under performance.

As Mr. Soulgrind said, I\'d return it.
It\'ll work fine but this capacitor propably has something to do with power regulation.
Return the thing, and b!tchslap your friend.
