I was wondering if anyone got Spashdown yet. It looks great, the gameplay looks fun. Who\'s getting it?

I got it a few days ago and it\'s excellent.  There is a good deal of depth to the gameplay because you have to know when to pull back and push forward on the watercraft.  I really enjoy a racing game that requires more than just steering and braking.  You not only have to learn the courses, but also you have to learn many techniques to manuver your seadoo throughout the courses.  By doing stunts you increase the performance of your Seadoo.  The AI is also very good and thankfully it\'s not rubberband-like.  There\'s a decent selection of riders to choose from, each with thier own different characteristics.  The track selection is also very nice.  There are 18 courses but in hard mode all those courses have much longer and more complicated paths so technically there are 36 courses.  Rainbow studios really knows how to capture the feeling of driving the Seadoos just as they did with ATVs in ATV Offroad Fury.  I highly recommend this game to racing fans......especially fans of watercraft racing.

Oh yeah......I didn\'t talk about the amazing looking water because by now almost everyone knows the water is breathtaking it this game.  What matters to me most is that the great gameplay outshines the great graphics.  Do yourself a favor and check it out.

your friend can\'t count frames to good. The game runs at 60FPS with slight drops on occasion

I know I heard it was really good too.  I think  ignps2 gave it like an 8.9 or something.  Plus, I spoke to a few people that been saying how good the game is.  I will pick it up sooner or later.

I can\'t believe the water effects in this game!  It\'s just amazing.  The gameplay is incredible, and the variety of courses is excellent.  I liked Wave Race, but it only had like 8 courses.  Splashdown has a ****load!  A must buy for racing fans.

Rastalant, you gotta see the Water to believe it.  Simply incredible!  IGN compared the water bettween Splashdown, Wave Race: Blue Storm, and Eidos Wave Rally for PS2.  IGN concluded that Splashdown has the best Water effects.  You goota buy it Rastalant! :D

Your very welcome!  Man, I forgot about MGS, and Maximo- I\'m a die hard fan of Ghosts n Goblin\'s, Ghoul\'s n Ghosts for Genesis, and Super Ghoul\'s n Ghosts for Super Nintendo.  This game looks awesome.  Man so many great games coming out lately.  I love it!!:D
