Title: Remember the Import Show I asked you guys to help name?

Well I had to go do some test shots with my two host last weekend at an event.  I took some video and through it together.

It\'s only about 30 seconds worth, but you will get a feel for what the show will be like.  Although the show won\'t be this fast for 30 minutes.

heh..  I just got Final Cut Pro and I was just playing around with it.  The music is just from a CD I got out of my wife\'s car.  Had nothing else to play with.  But that gave my boss my idea of how this show could go.  We\'ll see.

I\'m use to editing on a full linear format with 5 decks and a computer controlled switcher.  It\'s a lot different editing on desktop.

Damn, I\'m at work right now and I can\'t see it.

Anyway, what kind of show is it?  A pilot?  If you need actors and are in the Jersey area, look me up!  I\'ve done all amateur stuff, but I can do professional gigs!  :D

It\'s an automotive show featuring Import and Sport Compact cars.

Featuring lots of trick cars, trick stereos, and chicks.

I still have your suggestions.  I really have nothing to do with the name.  My boss is coming up with the name and that is the problem.  He wanted pocket rockets.  I told him that the generation we are targeting doesn\'t use the term pocket rockets anymore.  Unless of course they are talking about vibrators.

I think it\'s going to be High Rev Tuners.  That\'s the name from the last week.  It essentially says what the show is about so that\'s cool.  I made a fairly nice logo the other day.  I don\'t have it on this computer or I would upload it.  Not sure if we are going to use the logo, but it\'s pretty nice.  At least I think so.  

I am planning on maybe using some of your names as titles for some of the segments.  The show will be magazine format so we will be all over the place.

Mindspring gives like 30 megs to use as an ftp.  Glad you got it.

not bad video!! 1 suggestion if I may...

get rid of that oogly green and yellow civic at the end of that preview. That ruined the whole thing for :D

This thing will never be seen.  I was just playing around.  I shot all of that with a DV cam.  The reason the green and yelow car was there at the end was because I had the title flying in over it.  I just wanted the smoke.  That was why it went into slow mo at the end.  I needed some extra time.

Most of our shooting is in February and march.  Hopefully we will get this sucker on air before summer. I need the money.

We are on slate for 13 shows.  I am going to shoot at Nopi in LA in February.  Then we are going to hit a few events here in FL to keep the budget down.  We will then hit an even in Pigeon Forge, TN.  And probably two Hot Import Nights shows.  I\'m going to a HIN show this weekend in Ft. Lauderdale.

We are looking for a male host right now.  I found two people.  They need to be techy people.  

I have the female.  She doesn\'t know anything about cars, but she has a great personality and a great on camera presence.

Australia is quite a commute.

There is a Hot Import Nights in Chicago, but I think I am going to hit the one in New Jersey.  Still coming up with the plan.  It really depends on how much our sales guys sell.
