Can anyone tell me if the PS2 can be used with a computer monitor?
Thank you

Sure, why not? i\'m also waiting for a cable that would connect to my PC monitor. For now its available in Japan only with the Linux Kit of PS2, but i think Sony of Europe and America would release it when they will get Harddrive and Ethernet Adaptor of PS2 in their region. If u don\'t believe it then check this out...

It can be used, but no game takes advantage of it because the PS2 does not look pretty in any high-res mode.  The signal of the PS2 is split up for a TV signal so it does look pretty on a TV, but not on a monitor.  If you take a picture of a television with a digital camera, you\'ll catch the de-interlaced frame, it\'s pretty neat, but it\'s still not meant for monitors.

I\'ve ran ps2 through my monitor.. Via capture card.. Also done it with the DC.. Quite trippy on ps2...  But i guess u can get a monitor switch or a ps2 monitor.. If there is such a thing.
