I was wondering what you guys think of him now.Do you think he is doing the right things? How is are president doing?
-
He is doing everything possible to calm people, bring "evil doers" to justice, and to make sure the economy is stable.
-
I think a lot of people are glad that he is in office since this all went down. A lot of people were Gore supporters before are now finding themselves Bush supporters.
I am glad that Bush was in office and not Gore when this happend.
I think he is doing a great job. This event is either going to make or break him.. He has a lot on his plate right now. Dwindling economy, war, foriegn policy. I think he is doing a great job representing the United States.

i still have the same thought i had about him before 9-11-01, and i still think he is an idiot
-
I liked him before 911, and I still like him in office. Glad I voted for him.
-
More than proud of his efforts. Additionally, gotta appreciate that "Mr. Cigar" :thepimp: [a.k.a. Clinton] wasn\'t in office now...he\'d just be worried \'bout when he\'d be gettin\' his next bj :o

Well considering Clinton was already there I would have to say Clinton.. Even if Clinton was in China and still visited Ny first, big whoopty doo daa..
Clinton is a page in the history books now, he has no impact on this country or its people anymore, so I guess he just don\'t matter, and thank gawd.

Boy I don\'t know what to say. Trying to respond to someone with the mentality to support Clinton seems like a total waste of time.
George Bush has assembled a cabinet that is far superior to anything Clinton had. The president is a figure head people. He\'s a diplomat. He pushes policies. With that being said I think Bush has been a heck of a lot stronger than I ever thought he could be when I voted for him.
Clinton on the other hand was a total emberassment. He took more trips than any other president over sees and it doesn\'t seem like he was doing much other than racking up the miles for the free flights when he retired. Our policies in the middle east are horrible and it is going to take a long time for us to correct a lot of the misunderstandings about our culture.
Nevermind, I\'m not saying anything a sane person doesn\'t already know and the looneys that praise Clinton are deaf anyway.

Hrmmm that sparks a question in my mind Videoholic. DOES Air Force one have a frequent flyer program..???

Dude, wouldn\'t that be awesome. I imagine you would get quadruple miles since it\'s far better than first class.

The question you should ask is what did he do right? He seemed like a nice guy on TV, and the people he has met say that he has a certain charisma where it\'s hard not to like him. But, he seemed to just be a figurehead as VH pointed out and I don\'t really remember him doing anything special for our country.
The main reason the masses loved Clinton was because of the economic boom in the 90\'s. News flash: He had next to nothing to do with that. The economy was already set to be doing well around that time thanks to the Fed Reserve and lowered interest rates, etc... Economists say they\'re just glad Clinton didn\'t screw anything up (ie- signing the bill allowing consumer internet purchases to be non-taxable).
To me he just seemed to be a slouch trained to look good on TV and making all those trips to foreign nations just to shake hands to get more headlines.
But that\'s just me talking, and everyone has their own opinion.
