Im quite happy for one of my friends. A message I just got from him.

"Well we won the IDRC Long Horn Nationals All Motor class this weekend in San Antonio TX  . It was a great event. The car was running real strong. Nemo had an awesome tune up on the car, It kept getting quicker every pass. We ended qualifing #2 behind Scott Kelly Toyo Tires VW.  We faced off in the final, and as luck may have it the VW broke after the 60ft. We went on to run our best pass to date 11.06 @122 MPH.

Timeslip looks like this:
60  FT   1.62
330 FT   4.56
1/8 ET   7.05
1/8 MPH 97.93
1000 FT 9.22
1/4 ET   11.06
1/4 MPH 122.74

This puts us real close to first place in the IDRC All Motor class points race. So we might be able to pull it off after all. Only time will tell."

rocket car no..rocket car numbers would be much, much faster.

wait a second... you mean there are actually things called "rocket cars"?

im not much into cars so i dont know these things, but if there is such a thing as a rocket car i think i might have to get one.

yup..i dont feel like looking for a link for ya now..but yea..sure are rocket/jet powered cars and trucks..kinda kewl to see them too! Those fukkers are loud and fast!

Very loud.  And as far as speed goes, well you get whiplash just trying to watch them.

Yeah, you have to sort of point the car directly at the Seven Eleven before you get in.  If there are any buildings in the way, not to worry!  Oh yeah, don\'t forget your radar detector.  I recommend the Valentine One. (http://www.valentineone.com/home.asp)
