Title: Another Capcom Vs. SNK 2 question.
Post by: Steven C on November 12, 2001, 09:20:34 PM
Is it just me or does Morrigan look really choppy?  And some special moves seem really hard to do, I\'ve been playing Steet Fighter games for a long time and it is really hard to do some special moves in this game.

I agree about the difficulty of some supers -- actually, just the double half circle ones.  Especially when you have to do the double half circle ones in the air.

All I want from the PS3 controller is a soft dpad that doesn\'t hurt your thumb.  That would be sweet.:)

Street Fighter games are not the same as SNK games and thus, the supers for SNK games are much more difficult.  Half circles are the norm for King of Fighters so you just have to cope with it.  Difficult is not the half circles, difficult is the half circles coupled with extensives combinations of buttons and pulling them off at will like you do with a couple of quarter circles.  Of course, I am talking about Rock Howard\'s\\Geese Howard\'s ultimate combination super that takes off about half health.  I can do it maybe 25% of the time and that\'s just sloppy and poor.

As for Morrigan, yes, she is definitely terrible.  She has to be the worst animated character in the entire game.  They completely gave Chun-Li all new animations and frames of animation and completely ignored everyone\'s favorite succubus.  That pisses me off a little bit, but I would have rather had Terry\'s older version from Garou (Mark of the Wolves to most of you) as well as Galford from Saumrai Spirits (Samurai Showdown).  Oh well, beggers can\'t be choosers. :)

I haven\'t recived the game yet from Amazon, but I do have a question.

How do you cancel a super into another super.

I know when your using the C-groove you can cancel a level 2 super into a level one super.

Is this really hard to do..or do you just have to input the command of a level one super right before the level two super is over.

I have seen some pretty nice C-groove combo exibitions and it seems like in order to do the most damage you have to know how to cancel.

To cancel into another super move, you just have to input the command for the super move while in the first super move.  It is pretty easy.

Yup, like doing 2 consecutive supers.  You just have to nail the timing and the ability to do supers as easily as if you were to just press a single button.

Yeah Morrigan just looks retarded.  It looks like Capcom just ported her over from Darkstalkers 1.  They didnt do anything w/ her.
