Title: DVD - AUdio out of Sync
Post by: scarydonkey on November 13, 2001, 04:50:20 AM
When I watch DVDs on my PS/2, sometimes (though not always) the soundbecome slightly (only a fraction of a second) out of sync with the picture, so that speech looks and sounds wrong.  This is most noticeable on Shrek (extra features interviews) and Casino (movie itself). I have a UK PAL PS/2 usually hooked through my (non-surround) stereo (but it is wrong when just thru my mono tv also).
Is my PS/2 faulty or is this a common fault? If so can it be rectified and how?

I\'m REALLY pi**ed off!

i know how u feel...it used to happen to me..but not any more. i now use the official ps2 dvd remote controler, which comes with a software upgrade for your dvd player. best £20 i spent since that cheap hooker in soho! ...and the remote is cool too!!

yup the DVD romote and upgrade disk will cure that or if you have spent all your money

just quickly press Start twice (to pause & unpause the DVD) and that will do it too.
