Hmmmm.. What are your thoughts? Right now I think it looks great that everyone is happy, but a legitimate ruling party needs to be put into place quicly. These northern alliance guys aren\'t all that great either. But at least they got the whack jobs out of there.
These Afghan people better be kissing some American ass. That\'s all I have to say.
Peace out.

Actually, I never really thought about it. Just seems to me that they did what they were supposed to do. I expected it to happen, so I dunno. Now if it were more of a struggle than the US media has reported than maybe I may think otherwise.

My feeling is this. The UN is going to want to put a multicultural ruling party in there. The UN will leave the country to the Afgans, but maintain a military presence for probably a number of years.
But I doubt anyone is going to pay much attention to the want of the Northern Alliance. I think their uses are gonna be up when the Taliban are gone. And I think that is gonna cause some problems down the road.
If not I see the Northern Alliance causing issues down the road if they do get to gain power over Afganastan.
Its going to be interesting, because the UN and the United States are going to want to have a presence there well after this is all over.

When Taliban is gone...... the Northern Alliance wont be anymore, they will split up...... and some of em will fight each other later on.
The alliance is just something they had to make, because of their common enemy..... Taliban
