Title: Don\'t Move this - GTA3 may be pulled for censorship!
Post by: GmanJoe on November 19, 2001, 09:03:12 AM: Get it now while the uncensored version is still available! All those "Easter Eggs" in the game went undetected by the powers that be. Now that the gamers have found out about all these "things" you can do (snipe civilians, beat up women), there\'s a good chance that the game will be pulled from the shelves for obvious reasons.

GET IT NOW! Or face Ebay purchases of the unedited game for $120!!! :D

If it does happen well I completed it yestaday anyway. :D

Right on man. Let me ask you this. Do we not live in the land of the free anymore? Screw censors, all of em, they just take away more of our freedom every year. *Little jonny was playing GTA3 and he seen people shooting each other so he shot a man with our gun (in most cases in a easy to find place already loaded) Its the videogames fault....not my moronic sons fault. Come on that isnt going to happen and if it is, these people who do it shouldnt have had the game sold to them in the first place.

so i guess that they can only profit from this "rumour" (i say rumour becasue it\'s still selling over here in the UK and i would be very suprised if they remove it from the selfs after the amount thats alread been sold soo far)

Still stranger things have happend...

I don\'t think it will, if DMA have anything to go by they will profit from this publicity and sell even more units but this time on the PC and X box formats

during the outrage of the first game we had buses going about Glasgow with big posters shown the GTA logo and showing the front page headlines from the papers on the same AD

something tells me that Rockstar will enure a possible similar stratagy with the riot them up game "State of Emergency"

something tells me that there no such thing as bad publicity with games like this.

Post by: kid a lot on November 20, 2001, 12:34:11 AM: I don\'t get what the big deal is, i\'m sure there are games as bad as this. I don\'t even know why it got a 18 certificate here in the UK. I can\'t see anything sinister about this game - i just don\'t see what\'s so bad.

If anything; it teaches u when to run, when to kill and when to kill somemore - now if it told u the best + quickest way to hot wire a car.... I think i might have a censored version though because u can\'t take anyone\'s head off.

If it was sold to a kid under 18 - it\'s the retailers at fault. (they don\'t care)
