I\'m asking because my nephew wants one and I don\'t want to pay another $300 for a PS2. I just bought one 3 weeks ago... :bounce:

from what I heard no..........if you dont want your stars to freeze I would wait till 1400 for a wise member status..that is what I am doing.....I do remember you having one tho.....

Sony has said they feel confident with their lame $300 dollar price in competing with Xbox and Gamecube.

I\'m sure there will eventually be another price drop, but not anytime soon. We\'ll have to wait and see...

I coulda sworn I remember the Ps2 being $199 at some point. I wouldnt exactly know cuz I bought mine offa freind but I saw the Ps2 for $199 at best buy about two months ago... Or maybe it was those damn crack rocks again. :rolleyes:

Its £199 over here and for just a few more ££\'s you can get a a 2 games pack deal for £240 from Virgin and HMV

I consulted my magic crystal ball, it tells me a price drop is coming in spring. :D
