I say the same to you watchdog....
Fastson, I guess for those that dont know. Like me for example, I only knew some ms system specs and the ps2 specs..Now b/c of him, it saved me a search:D

We\'ve seen enough of this crap. There is no point to crap like this. Anyone with an ounce of intelligence and initiative could find it on the web or do a search of this forum and garbage bandwidth wasting trash like this would coeme up by the dozens.
That\'s why morons like this should think before they post.

From the specs its a no-brainer xbox is the most powerful console on the market or in the arcades. :fro: Ps2 is good hardware as well and so is gamecube.

He\'s a junior member guys. He has no idea. Go easy on him.

Do you not realize the Xbox and PS2 specs are stupid estimates with all effecs turned off, and the GCN specs is a realistic estimate with all effects on. Not that this matters, just thought I\'d let you know. And wheres your particle proccessing. I always love to see the PS2 win in some kind of spec comparison.

gawd and i thought i was lame.

P.S. I saw a side-by-side demo of Xbox/PS2/GC in an electronics store about two weeks ago. The only game I recognized was Star Wars: Rogue Squadron Leader for the GC. The PS2 obviously has worse graphics than the other systems, but it\'s a tie between the GC and XBox. My parents agree with me on this.

It\'s too early to deliver any judgement about the graphics capabilities of GC and X-Box basing yourself on launch games...
...we should wait at least another year...
...but if you look at specs(polygon power, rendering bandwidth, effective texture bandwidth and several other futures) you realize that X-Box is the most powerful...

Hey mtlmn66, welcome to the forum! :D Thanks for your infomaiton.

So this means that my computer as powerful as the xbox cause my comp is 733mhz and 64 meg ram.
Cool, now I dont have to fork out more money for a xbox. I can just use my computer
-
I admit to possibly not correcting the specs fully. When I say that "my parents agree with me", I mean that my mother, my father, and I all observed the demo and came to the same judg(e)ment that the PS2 had the worst graphics. The television sets were all 13-inch standard-definition NTSC sets.
-
spec\'s mean **** anyways cuz all the systems run on totally different engine\'s/proccessors.

WHO ARE YOU!!!?? LOL:laughing:   :shy: :shy: :D :D

Its good that the X-Box is such an elaborate system but I haven\'t seen one game released by them that needed it...
So far I have not seen one game for the X-Box that I have any particular desire to see on the PS2...
They\'re going to have to do better...

My CPU is a Nueral Net Processor -- a learning computer.

     ...you\'re joking right ?? :)
I\'ve an AMD 1.4 giga,a GeForce2 Pro 64 Mega and 512 mega of system ram and racing games on my PC look like Crap compared to PG on the X-Box(a Launch Game)...for example...
Mhz and Ram alone don\'t make the same processing power, the same rendering bandwidth, the same effective texture bandwidth,etc,etc...
X-Box is a Console,not a "PC"...why people can\'t realize that ? :D
...I know you\'re joking Vulcan Raven :) ...but there\'re a lot of confused people(most of all at TeamXbox Forums) who are trying to upgrade their X-Box...muaaaaaBuaaa...they are retarded

The question is not how powerful your PC at 1.4 GHz is, but how much the games for it is utilizing the power of it. I was very impressed to see Wolfenstein screens (needs a GF3 I think) and the upcoming UT2. There just isn\'t a big racing game that can match the power of the computer hardware - and I guess the talent isn\'t there either just yet. :(
Nice PC by the way... damn, I just can\'t play games on my laptop 500 MHz.. :( :(

Very True :) ...not only PCs have bottlenecks but also developers have to make games which run even on less powerful PCs...

It\'s like watching a movie based on a game: a mistake.
