Title: memory cards

I Recently asked if some-one could tell me about memory cards.I got some replies thanks!,But the problem i had which stills needs solved is,If i am playing a ps one game on the playstation 2 is there anyway i can save my position using the ps2 8mb memory card as every time i try is never detects the card.Pretty frustrating as you can imagine please help.

It goes like this.

PS2 games = PS2 Memorycard (8MB)
PSX games = PSX Memorycard

i thought i would mention that you can save back up copies of psx game saves on your ps2 but you cant load them from the ps2 mem card you have to copy them back to a psx mem card
