This is by far, the best WRC short footage ever. BTW, it\'s like a music video but for cars.

Now you guys can see why these drivers are classed the best in the world.. i find circuit racing quite boring
but Rallying is all all about point to point racing over all sorts of hazardous roads.. believe me, iv\'e seen
Delacour blasting along at 100mph with only 26-30 feet visibility due to real nasty fog..
now you tell me.. would you do that?
I thought so. These guys know what there doing.. you only really notice the speed when your\'e actually there.
I was lucky enough to have been in Wales this weekend to see all of those drivers on that video clip.

Anyway, this clip shows some Americans that  this stuff is real. It\'s a real sport, not just a game. Nascar?.... paffff...

Cheers Gman..

NASCAR puts me to sleep. Crikey.....and I have to live with the media hype over this NASCAR crud.

It seems that the marketing people that promote NASCAR know that Rallying is definitely something that can make Americans realize what NASCAR really is - NAPTIME (or NAPcar, as I like to call it). So they\'ve REALLY been hyping it up this past two years.

Fortunately, SCCA has been sponsoring a lot of rallies in the North East and North West. Even had Prodrive brought over a WRC Group A Subaru Impreza - which beat the second place car by over 8 minutes in one of the rally rounds. In WRC level, that\'s quite a HUGE margin(except in Kenya).

Unfortunately, Americans want to see the races in the comfort of their fat ass. Thus, the popularity of arena races here. We can\'t haul our fat asses over hills and ditches to watch a race! We\'re too fat!

This video is something that NASCAR media folks would not want you to see.

The \'incar\' cam at 38 seconds is just like that in WRC 2001 and imho the best way to play.

well im not much of the racing fan - as far as watching it goes

but that video was quite entertaining

looks almost just as dangerous for the spectators as the drivers at times

You should see the Portugal Rally. The road is whatever the spectators allow you to drive through! Meaning that the drivers look as if they\'re driving through a sea of people and the crowd will move away at the last second.

Hey, that´s not entirely true (im not denying it), ive seen worse in other countrys, like photographers, and rally fans also crossing the road exaclty when the car aproaches, now thats weird, one situation like that passed on some months ago in some rally clip on eurosport.
But one thing is for shure, Portugal has some of the best rally courses in the world! Pure Dust in the hot days, loads of mud/ice in the cold, gravel, u name it, and hell, i like seing some crazy guys running across the road! in the videogames lol

I should have specified that in some of the stages in Portugal, it\'s like the way I described it. Check out the 1997 WRC and you\'ll see that in the Portugal rally, they had to cancel one of the stages due to the amount of crowd getting in the way. Colin McRae was frustrated since he didnt\' want to kill anyone with his car.
