Title: Like random battles or not?

Are you a fan of random battles in RPGs?  I\'m definately not.  When I want to explore a space, i want to explore a space and not get attacked every ten seconds.  Thats one of the things about the  FF series that annoys the hell out of me.  I wish there was some device you could put on and take off when you want to level up.  So are you a fan of the random battles?

I prefer, but would like some control over the whole matter, sorta like "encounter half/none" in FFVIII, particularily from the get-go. Without any contol of encounter, random battles, at times, can be a real thorn in the butt when you need to sit.

don\'t hate them like some

don\'t love them cause there is a more intelligent system to be discovered IMO

but I can enjoy them

so mark me down as a Kinda guuy

don\'t hate them ! even i love them ! but ofcourse seeing your enemy ALA Chrono Cross  i kinda loved too !

In FFX the screen shatters right before it cuts to the battle.  Its cool:D
