Yeah I haven\'t played em either. Although i\'ve got Tony Hawks 3 for christmas.

Tough choice between GTurismo 3 and Devil May Cry, but I went with DMC.

I would have Voted for FFX (the demo is sweet...choppy at times.......)but I must have passed it up and voted for MGS2.

I don\'t see how many who have played maybe 1 or 2 of those titles at best have a say in the "game of the year" stuff, but that\'s just my opinion. Besides, how can people vote for FFX? Do three [now 4] people in this forum own Japanese PS2\'s and fluently understand Japanese? Please, tell me who these people are so I can ask them difficult Japanese questions and prove that they don\'t own the game or that they are just riding hype. *Pathetic*

My vote goes for GT3 and MGS2. GTA3 would be right there below em. then Smugglers Run 2 and Ace Combat 04. The list can go on and on and....

I was torn between GT3 and MGS2, I ended up choosing MGS2, probably only because I just played it

I chose GTA3. It may not be the "best" game of the year but it is the future of game design and a technical marvel.

MGS2 for me. It\'s just the best. I\'ve beaten it on hard now. Extreme, here I come!

I\'d say Final Fantasy X but I won\'t even see more then the demo until January...

Wayhay GTA 3 is catching up some but I think the winner has already been decided... I wonder if I would have voted MGS2 if I had played it?

I voted for GTA3, after that I would go for GT3. Some of those games arent out in PAL yet or even the US.
I thought Twisted Metal: Black should of been there instead of FFX. Its not even out yet

I wont recieve metal gear 2 till feb, so ill have to vote for GTA3. This game really got me hooked.
I didnt get into the first 2, but 3 is a killer :)

FFX shouldn\'t even be a candidate IMO since it hasn\'t launched in our territories yet
even if it comes out 5 days before the end of the year it still more of a 2002 game

The problem with FFX is the long wait from Japan to other territories, it\'s one of the best of 2001 games, by the time we get to next December I surely hope that it\'s not one of the best games of 2002. Even though it\'s not out in English yet, I still vote it for the best game of 2001.

for some reason inside i know that i will be annoyed by Tidus when i play FFX but i still feel it is gonna be the game that makes me happy i bought a PS2 mostly
so thats my choise

I played it over my friends house and it was great. He wouldn\'t let me borrow it, though. :(
