A few weeks ago I began to notice strange lines appearing on my T.V. screen whenever I was using my PS2. The lines are diagonal, and move from the bottom right corner of the screen to the top left corner. In the last couple of weeks the lines have become even more obvious, to the point where they are downright annoying. Is the problem with my T.V. or with my PS2? Any help would be appreciated.
I am using the regular component video connections and my T.V. is only about 5 years old.

You know that is funny, I\'ve seen a very visible line on a PS2 demo system at SoftWare Etc. It looks very dark, its 25% from the bottom 3mm thick. I think its the PS2 doing this line. I remember other forum members posting this issue awhile ago. :D

I remember having that problem with my Atari jaguar when I had my RF connector too close to my jagaur.......try moving aound power cords.....sometimes the interference from it causes that.......

To me, this is sounding like a TV problem. Unless the fact that it doesnt do it while your watching just plain tv. Im not sure cause i cant see whats going on but my tvs been acting up lately but its my cable fuqin up, cause we\'re gonna be switching to digital here pretty soon. (HELL YEA!). :D
Back to the subject, just mess with the cables in back of your tv and Ps2 and if that doesnt work, try getting it checked out, your tubes might be getting kinda rusty... with a tv of only five years old tho I dont know. weird. Wouldnt hurt getting it checked out.

Try another TV ! If those lines are there too, then you´ve got a problem with the PS2... but I doubt that !

Kick your PS2, if the lines get worse, kick it harder, if they get better, your done kicking.
