Title: English Shenmue 2
Post by: Ashford on December 02, 2001, 05:44:30 PM
Check out this auction for a good deal on an English copy of Shenmue 2. Its a dutch auction so you don\'t have to outbid anyone unless there are more bids than copies. This is the third time this seller is having this auction. The 2 previous times, he\'s sold almost 200 copies so he should be reliable.

Remember its the European version but at least you won\'t have to wait until the XBox version.

And according to Altered, you\'ll have no problems playing it on an NTSC console.

Its £29.99 in HMV in the UK. Cheaper than what he is selling it since you will have to pay P&P.

Yes, but I live in the US so I\'ll have to pay high shipping, regardless.

And I can\'t wait for the XBox version. Just finished Shenmue again and NEED TO GET OFF THAT SHIP AND VISIT HONG KONG!!!

Shenmue II, like Headhunter, is also in automatic NTSC, you should have NO problems. Even if not, use your VGA Box, you have a VGA Box, don\'t you?

If not, you haven\'t, you ain\'t seen nothin yet.

I read that you can\'t use a domestic game with an import VMU.

No PAL game with NTSC VMU.

Is this true?

I have 3 different memory cards, the Official 4X card, Performance, and Nexus. The last 2 are unofficial and unlicensed. Does that make any difference?

I never heard of importting memory cards.

Come on, don\'t you think I would have noted that with Headhunter. Euro games save just fine on US VMUs, and vice versa.

I think mm means the issue regarding a Usa Save of Shenmue with all of the skills and items, then continuing on with the pal version.

Ive heard that there may be some problems, and that the save needs to be converted somehow.
