Ah yes things are looking good for my next car purchase. I\'ve been following this closely, and I\'m very excited. Mitsu introducting the Evo VII in the US will force Subaru to bring out the WRX STi... and possibly Nissan will have a response too??? Maybe Honda will do an RSX Type R?
For me, the only remaining questions about the Evolution are:
1. How much will it be castrated for the US market?
2. How will it be priced? I think Nissan is screwing up big time by pricing the Skyline as a luxury car in the US under the Infiniti badge, so let us hope Mitsubishi doesn\'t get any crazy ideas about screwing their patient customers.

Can\'t wait, thats gonna be nice.. Its going to be tuned down for the US, but that will be easy to fix with some mods here and there..
Truely a nice car.. And the STI will be nice as well..
Not sure if you all know what the Audi RS4 is, if you don\'t I suggest you go look it up.. One of the nicest AWD vehicles out there.
Well Audi is bring the RS4 to the US, the A3/S3 and a new version of the S4.
There are so many nice cars comming.. Woot woot woot

yeah..too bad they\'ll detune it to around 230-40 instead of the all mightly 276 HP. The price will be around 25k, that\'s what them people told me in the lancer evo forum.
now I need to go sleep with some of those pretty rich chicks in my class so that I could have enough money by the time they come out.
:eyemouth: j/k

AHHH! YOU LIE! Preludes are sick! you bastard!

Competition is good for the breed. Subaru is expected to counter the Evo VII with its more potent WRX STi. Other powerful transplants are in the works, as Infiniti will soon market the Nissan Skyline sedan as the G35, and Nissan is considering bringing the full-bore Skyline GT-R coupe over to position above the 350Z.
HAH!!! I was right! Whoever said I wasn\'t (forget) I told you so!! :)
Thanks for the news lionken.

I happily await the EVO...which in turn WILL force the STi to come here as well..either way..us USA consumers and car enthusiasts benefit.
serrano: get a ITR..the rsx is wayyyy over rated. if you like the body style..kewl, i kinda do too, but from a performance and potential standpoint, get a nice yellow ITR :D
Its a damn shame it the evo certainly wont be 276hp, the frame will probably be spot welded instead of seem welded.
Hopefully nissan will follow suit with the skyline instead of having to import one..then mod it to make it street legal. I\'d rather deal with less hp and make the hp back myself than pay out of the whazoo for a imported car.

I thought about getting an Integra too early next year...But now I think I will get an Impreza GT. Costs a bit more but I really want the 4WD and more power.
