It small, but its better than nothing. It looks good.........just like the arcade version. Oh yeah here\'s my most wanted game next year............tekken 4.:eek: :thepimp:

Here is some info on what Tekken 4 PS2 will be:
The first few details and images for the PlayStation2 release of Tekken 4 have been released by Famitsu magazine.
The PS2 version of Tekken 4 is scheduled to be the first "perfect" port from the arcade series, unlike the previous Playstation ports which required some form of edit in graphics or data. As a perfect port, no changes will be made to game or move balances, nor will any additional stages be added.However, extra characters may possibly be included in the game.
As with other versions of the Tekken console series, team battle, survival, and training mode will be available in the game, as well as a new mini-game. In the home version\'s arcade mode, each character will have a prologue featuring new artwork, and an ending movie.
Tekken 4 for the Playstation2 is about 60% complete and on schedule for a March 2002 release as we reported earlier.

Tekken 4: The poor man\'s DoA3. They should have stuck to the 2D control scheme...
Itagaki was right, T4 is sh!t. And are those supposed to pass as next gen graphics? It looks like a PSX game with more polygons.

As you can tell, Ras, I\'m not a big fan of the Tekken series...
In fact, I\'m not a big fan of Namco, because they\'re the poor man\'s Sega. They shamelessly rip off Sega and now they\'re trying to rip off DoA3 trying to be 3D.

Rip off Sega? AHAHAHAHAHA, thats damn funny........ Namco trying to rip off DOA3? hmm, why don\'t you play Soul Calibur, that was 3D, before that ****ty ass DOA3 even came out...... Sega\'s Virtua fighter series has depth, but, bah, wheres the part about Namco ripping off sega? Explian to me how in the hell namco is ripping off DOA3? When Soul Calibur was 3D. DOA3 might have bigger enviorments, but it certainly isn\'t being ripped off of by Namco, jeez. Your a troll, and you DON\'T know your games very well mr intelligent Xbox Fanboy:rolleyes:

If I remember correctly, Tekken was a 3D fighting game from the beggining, and they try to rip of DOA? hah. Come up with some more lame excuses to put down tekken big guy.

I think VF4 and SC2 looks better.. But T4 will rock in the gameplay department IMO.. :D

how the hell does tekken 4 relate to sega VF i mean those are two completely differet styles of play all together
i mean if anything DOA ripped off VF - makes more sense - button are the same kinda but VF is a lot more depth and for more skilled players not just anyone such as DOA3 is

I haven\'t played the game much.. I just had a couple of matches that\'s all.. It\'s pretty cool though, I like the one stage where when you actually knock down people in the background. :cool:

I like to play to Doa3 and T4 ! The 2D and 3D are two differents ways to play, but the most important is the fun to play, and once isnt\' better than the other. it\'s just a question of taste ! ;)

DoA 3 is only one thing....... graphic.
Gameplay realy sucks in this series..... u wont play this game for a long time (max a few weeks)
But VF and Tekken have everything DoA dont have.
And btw...... DoA is just VF with less gameplay, and a counter button.

Me saying you\'re a complete moron would be an understatement. Check Tecmo\'s character designs/fighting styles and we\'ll see where the rip-off\'s come from.
DOA = poor man\'s VF with cheap counters.

I like the chick with the jeans and bikini top in the lower left pic. Hmmmm, can\'t wait for this one. I\'ve played many PS2 fighters, and Tekken Tag Tournament was my favorite. DOA2 was boring and much too japanesque for my taste. Tekken 4 is going to rock hard.

Anyway March 2002. Thats earlier than I thought. Hopefully an Import Chip will be out so I don\'t have to wait until December 2002 for it. ;)
December 2002 is just me joking I don\'t know the European release date.

poor mans doa3 eh?? Hahaha:laughing: Doa3 is more like the poor mans vf, it doesn\'t even compare to tekken, sc or the all mighty VF. I have been playing fighters for very I say VERY long and doa3 is the most shallow boring a repetative fighter I have seen.
Itagaki says tekken is ****? I think he and his entire team is ****, saying that they maxed out ps2 with Do2HC
