I agree that spamming is bad and everything, but this is an \'Off Topic Forum\'. Just because YOU find a post boring, doesnt mean that other members will.
The more posts the merrier I say. But I do agree that is was getting out of hand, particularly with the Spamminators etc, I mean, that was going just alittle too far, and I think some of the posts were getting just alittle too anal.
And remember, this is coming from me, I have done my fair share of spam, such as my Mariah Carey posts (Which alot people found interesting). But It has deffinately gone too far. I mean, Videoholic, did you really need to tell us your lost your Starcraft disc?
I have been a main player in these forums for awhile now, and they are great, so lets not try to screw them up or nuthing.

I think you are giving yourself WAY too much credit here. I don\'t think anyone finds Mariah carey posts interesting.

I\'ve always thought that people took the whole "spamming" thing out of proportion.
I mean this is Off-Topic, where we talk about things other than consoles and take things lightly and just try to have fun.
I agree that replies with nothing more than smilies are just idiotic, and some poeple could learn to use the "Edit" button.
But you can\'t expect every reply to be a few sentences, sometimes all you have to say is one sentence.
And the whole Spaminators thing was just a joke to lighten things up, and bring some fresh air into OT. There wasn\'t any real spamming involved.

I agree with nO-One, now that the Spaminators and SA are dead anyway, why punish us further bt taking away the posts in the OT forums. 75% of my posts have been in the OT forum and I would consider non of them spam...... well ok i may have spammed a bit on the home stretch to 500 posts... but who didnt?
Bring them back...... please!

I would also have to say that the majority of my posts are normally in OT, and none of them are usually spam.

Post counts for Off-topic will return once we agree that spamming is at low.. You guys can spam all you like, but that\'s just gonna make it take longer for the post count to return...
Give it 1 week, and everything will probably be normal.

i dont know those pics were always never very flattering considering other pics i saw of Mariah but other then that i dont like her
and the spaminators was not to suppost to be about spam and stuff but it seems some people thought so - it was fun while it lasted and everything is cool now for the most part
