Title: Good 2 player games?

I\'m looking for suggestions on good 2 player games.

I\'d like to get my wife to play also so I don\'t always go solo.

We have had fun before with GT for the PS, and Crash Karts was quite fun for us.  I have Madden (Can remember the year) for the PS, but she doesn\'t get into that.

I\'d like a game that you can play for short periods of time (like 1/2 an hour to an hour at a time).  Sports games can be included.  Mainly looking for a good, entertaining game.

My only game so far for the PS2 is GTA3, so let the suggestions begin!  (and thanks).

BG: DA has a Co-Op mode for 2 players to play at the same time


You could play the game for 1/2 at a crack if you like buts its really not a "Party Game" its and action RPG

i play all these games with my friends there also good 4 player games too

well i would say Dynasty Warroirs 3

as the second was awesome and entertaining fun a single player and with three they have incorporated 2 players into it making it for for all

I would have to say Dynasty Warriors 3, I just played it at a friends house and the two player co-op is awesome, other good multiplayer games are TM:B, Timesplitters, and ATV offroad fury

Bond is always fun to play multiplayer. Me, my brother and our freinds used to play four player all the time non stop for hours at end. And that was on 64. I havent played the new one yet, I wanna get my hands on it but I cant find it.

Anyway, good two player games are:

THPS3!!!!!!!
TM: B
TTT
Madden 2002
Triple Play basball
Smugglers Run 1 and 2
GTA3(although its a one player game Im sure both of you can get into it, just switch off every mission or something.)
GT3
SSX, and Id guess Tricky also.
and Ace Combat 04.

All those games are great for Two player action..

Yeah agreed. GTA 3 is a good two player game.

Also check out...

Tekken Tag.
Timesplitters (the one player game sucks in my opinion though, never tired it two player).
Baulders Gate (I imagine that would be sweet two player).

Any fighting game is a great 2 player game..

DOA2H, Tekken Tag, Street Fighter, etc.

Yeah, GT3 is really worth it.

For shoot em ups, try Timesplitters (tho not so good in 1p as rich said), Bond, Red Faction(limited ito 2p, no 4p option)

Sports - Pro Evoloution Soccer, SSX Tricky

Also try Tekken Tag, TReady To Rumble Boxing 2 has quite a comical edge to it in 1p and 2p.

Did anyone in the UK by the recent OPS2 mag?? Only on the review for Bond, it says the game is limited as there is no 4p option. I am assuming this to be incorrect, as i regularly kick the crap out of my 3 mates!! Bit of an error there, if they had noticed, it may have got a higher score??
