Strange, I am getting mine on the 19th. As is almost everyone here. The release date has been moved forward with an even more limited release date.

sucks for me though i have no moolah so therefor no preorder

but i will find a way - are companies that dont take preoders - say like Best Buy - Circuit City and wal mart getting the games too ?

I ask my local Wal-Mart, and the 70 year old guy with bottle glasses said he was sure they would be getting it. Hey if you can\'t trust you 70 yr old electronic\'s cashier, who can you trust, right?

I would pre-order it damn, that extra five bucks may not seem like much, but right now I cant afford all that. All I can do is get the game. Why spend an extra five bucks on the game? I understand you get it on the 19th but hey, that means that there will be more for people like me on the shelves on the actuall release date.
If I just happen to stumble across a five dollar bill walking down the street or something there\'d be no second guessing about what Id do. :)

I really don\'t feel the need about pre-orderin\' FF 10...

I didn\'t pre-order MGS2 and I got it the day after it came out, and for many other ones too...maybe it\'s only like that here in NYC.  We get stocks full of games :D

Well, it looks like the release date got moved up again.

Final Fantasy X, which originally had a release date of early January 2002 that later changed to December 26, 2001, is now due to ship to retail outlets nationwide on Tuesday, December 18, 2001. This latest change ensures that the game will be available in time for Christmas, so Final Fantasy fans might find this baby underneath their Christmas tree if they don\'t pick up a copy of the game for themselves earlier.
