Sony announced today that more than 23 million Playstation 2 consoles have shipped worldwide since its debut last year. The inclusion of DVD movie playback, large library, plus worldwide sellers like Metal Gear Solid 2 and Final Fantasy X have no doubt made the PS2 a top-seller with consumers. The PS2\'s U.S. install base is currently estimated at 5.2 million units.
Whoa!!!!! PS2 seems to be selling like cheap burger in gaming age words. 23million!!!!! Amazing!!!!!

What would be sweet as Kandahar pie would be if all users, Gamecube, PS2, X-box, could play on the same service.
Of course they would have to have the same game on each of the systems, i.e. Madden.
