This is the official countdown thread for

Final Fantasy X


On December 19 Final Fantasy X hits all VG stores.  And I would like to be the first to say,

They\'re up to ten already?  I don\'t know, even I\'m getting tired of the series, and I\'ve never actually owned one.

Not to rain on your countdown tho, I\'m sure it\'s still a fine game.

Only FF I ever beat was FF7. The rest don\'t float my boat. :laughing:

the only ones ive have beat is FF 7 & 8

im at the last stage on 9 and i am 3/4 of the way done with 3/6

and i only got 5 hours into 5 before i quit playing it

Cool.  I\'m so happy.  Vivi, I think we can trust you to be the kind of person that will wiselly EDIT his first post every day, instead of making more posts strung randomly throughout a long thread??  Yeah, you seem like a wise member.  I can\'t believe that goddamn game is coming out four days before my last/hardest university exam.  It\'s litterally going to screw me :crying:.   Ahhhh, well, it doesn\'t matter much anyways, I failed a math course already, lol.

I cant wait to get my hands on this game!!!!! One thing I love about the FF series is that the characters and settings change everytime so the game pretty much stays fresh no matter how many they make.

Never mind England Bring it to Bonnie Scotland ASAP !


*wonders if ooseven can force the Scottish Parliment to join the USA as a new State just to get games quicker ;) *

So no, I\'m not ready for it. It could be delayed for another 6 months for all I care. :D (of course when I get FFX all other games are on hold.)

So you see, this is my dilemna, not enough damn time. Hell, I still have old games that are new to me.. I should quit my job.

Well, Vivi. Lets celebrate without them then. I\'ll be here on the date and I won\'t be back for atleast a week. So I\'ll be giving one last horahh before I get into the game.

man I have seen this game in japan I and have to say that it kicks every games ass in terms of graphics.

But like ooseven said, when will we PAL suckers get them :(

damn too many good games, but so little spare cash and free time..

Awesome.... Although I\'m broke.... I might be able to turn in DOA2, Red Faction, Resident Evil, and Silent Hill 2...... Maybe I\'ll get some sort of discount.......:D

This thread reminds me... should I play some other FF games before I get FFX? Like FF7 or something since I heard it was the best of them all so far?

Thought Id ask before hand.

I think you should play FF7 it is the best one so far...well obviously the graphics wont be so great now but its a great storyline. If you play this you will all hyped up to play FFX!!!:D
