It looks like this game got a minor graphics overhaul. Jaggies? None that I can see. I hope the shimmering problem is gone now too. The textures seem to have been revamped also. :)
Today we received more than two dozen new screens from \'Gran Turismo Concept 2001,\' Sony\'s pseudo-sequel to Gran Turismo 3 on the PlayStation 2. As previously reported, the game will exclusively feature concept cars from a dozen Asian auto manufacturers including Honda, Nissan, Toyota, and Subaru amongst others. Several cars are featured in the new screens below including the Mitsubishi CZ3, Suzuki GSXR-4, and the Honda Fit. Gran Turismo Concept 2001 is scheduled for release in Japan on January 1, 2002. The game will be marketed towards auto enthusiasts and is expected to retail for 3,200 yen ($25).

I still see a teensy bit in the first and third pic.. I had to look extra hard though. ;)

Unless they worked on the graphics engine, I doubt it. The original shots of GT3 from Sony look like that as well. Crystal clear, and high-res. Not exactly the same visuals as when you\'re playing it.

The thing that makes me think the jaggies are gone is the fact that its a totally separate game, ie not an add on disc as first thought.
you dont need GT3 to play this disc, so they could have done some major tweaking in 8 months.

What track is that in the 2nd pic??
-
GT3 didn\'t have any jaggies
I love the open car feature :)
Im getting this for sure

GT3 had MAJOR jaggies, specially using RGB or componant cable. I dont know why you keep saying there arent jaggies, because there actually bad in this game.
The second pic is from Autum Ring, a track in the first two games.

Don\'t know about you guys, but there are no or hardly noticable jaggies in my GT3. I have no idea what you are talking about. The one thing that is quite disturbing is the FLICKERING and not aliasing.
-
Seven I have to agree with you I too, have no considerable jaggies in my gt3.
-
yea i never noticed jaggies as bad as yall are making them seem in the game - there were the usual have to look at the game paused really hard to find them - the background had the most jaggies really not the cars - just saying
but i am not sure if ill get this game or not - well maybe for the 20 bucks or whatever they sell it for

I love the Gran Turismo series! I have all 1, 2, and 3. Theres no doubt in my mind that I will be picking this game up. As for the jaggies issue in GT3... There are none that are considerably noticable. Overall jaggies were pretty much non existant in that game. No disappointments what so ever with it either.

I had very little Aliasing problems with GT3 except in the distances looking at fences and track boarders
but with the 1st person view most of the game looked pretty damn close to as advetised
these pics do look a little more vibrant then some of the original released GT3 pics and I\'m not sure but I don\'t recognize some the the tracks in these pics, but then again who was looking at scenery I had my eyes on the road
