It\'s about time.  Looks pretty cool but I still want more details.  Being a Metroid fan myself I\'m not at all dissapointed about the game being a FPS.

Thoughts?

Well - I\'m glad they cleared up one issue (the ball). I just can\'t say I am excited about their means of clearing it up. I have a question that has yet to be answered.. How in the HELL am I suppose to roll up into a ball, climb all the way up into a level, by letting bombs off in a perfectly timed moment to reach a certain platform? BY third person perspective? HA! THat\'ll be the day. Unless there is some brilliant new camera work here, it ain\'t happening. Furthermore, how the hell am I suppose to jump from platform to platform ? Oh, I forgot..We don\'t do that now\'a\'days - its a FPS ..And even if we do, it\'ll probably suck ass, as I\'ve never played a FPS game where jumping was decent - same applies to third person (\'cept for MDK & MDK2!) ! Did I also mention I hate FPS games?

I\'d like to thank Nintendo for ruining Metriod (more and likely).

Yes the jumping levels killed Max Payne.

Right away I thought, maybe the camera will swoop out and to the side so you see a head-on view of the platforms to jump...

But then I remembered, that\'s what 2D games do.

Regardless, they\'re working really hard on it, so I\'ll save judgment until we have something to play.  (Novel idea, eh?)
