Seems to indicate yes, but who knows and frankly, I don\'t care.
-
You don\'t care ??? THE creators of GoldenEye 007 !?
Dude, if these guys would make a Bond game for PS2 they\'d
smack all that Bond crap games EA\' s pushing out !
Imagine a new Bond game on PS2 from Rare when the new
Bond movie releases ! Or Killer Instinct on PS2 !
Check out the PS2 button icons on the orange/blue package
the snowman\'s holding ! The XBOX is very obvious.
If this a practical joke by Gamesradar, it would be a real
nasty/lame one at that, but imagine if it\'s real !

Well Killer Instinct was complete ass--a terrible fighting engine marred even more by cheap rip offs of great fighting games.
Goldeneye or Prefect Dark? They\'d be nice, sure, but do we need another shooter? Can it top Halo? Halo2? Quake4? Doom3? TF2? I doubt it, and if it did, who cares? There are enough solid shooters out there to satisfy me.
I reiterate: I don\'t care.

I think people are looking way too much into this. Rare is just joking around (they tend to do that) or they are just saying to enjoy whichever console you may have.
If they do go 3rd party, then great. Though that\'s a bummer for Nintendo.

Oh HELL YEAH! 007 and Pdark were the best Multiplayer FPS EVER ON A PLATFORM! EVER! E-V-E-R!
Rare comes to Sony, then there\'s nothing much to whine about. Rare is my second fave to Square.
Rare = Donkey Kong Country, Jet Force Gemini, Perfect Dark, 007 Goldeneye, Banjo-Kazooie, Conquer\'s Bad Fur Day.
God yes.

I can\'t say I agree with you here, to me there was nothing better than getting 3 of my friends together and whooping there ass in Goldeneye, to me that was the ultimate gaming experience and even online FPS to me haven\'t matched, and I\'d have to say Goldeneye and MOH were very close to me in single mode, I just like the layout of the boards more in GE so I pick it there too

*opinion duly noted
:)

I agree with mm, multiplayer FPS games don\'t belong on a console. Not until they start shipping consoles with a mouse/keyboard combo anyhow.
And I still don\'t get why people like Goldeneye so much, IMO it\'s extraordinairy boring.

Bah! That\'s a bunch of bologna. FPS are at their best going against "real" people. Well known FPS\'s that are known for their single player like MOH (Nice graphics  ) I just love the hours that me, my friends and a bowl of ranch doritos had with 007.

it is fake, just like the naughty dog game pics thye had a long time ago.
it was confirmed by C&V

It is also almost 20 years old. At the time Pac Man was considered good graphics.

Tell that to the over 6.5+ million people that bought Goldeneye. How well did MOH with it\'s 1-2 player mode sell again? ;)

My toughts exactly. Rare is simply saying enjoy whatever console you get for christmas. I mean really this is games radar who speculated Rare going multi platform anyway. Between this and a number of other things they\'ve lost being a reliable source in my eyes. It\'s like a bad sequel to a bad movie. Daily Radar Returns: The Games Radar Strikes

No, I\'ve actually heard that the Rare rumor is true.
I also have reason to believe that Square is developing for Nintendo, Xbox is worth the money, and that I flew in to work today on a pig.
Wait... huh? ;]

Not really. But graphics are something that are important to me cuz\' it really shows how much time and effort was developed into a game.

RARE DENIES MULTI-FORMAT DEVELOPMENT
Some people are far too easily bought. Head in for official confirmation that the house of Banjo is nothing but Nintendo
15:57 Rare\'s sense of humour is well known, as is the company\'s propensity to be coy on development projects. Rumour is usually dealt with by administering misleading, ambiguous comments. Sabre Wulf on Gamecube? Maybe...
But the developer behind Banjo-Kazooie, Donkey Kong 64 and GoldenEye, which is itself partly owned by Nintendo, doesn\'t mess around when speculation gets out of hand. In its inimitable way, the outfit sent out seasonal cards recently showing a Christmas tree under which seemingly lay a PlayStation 2, an Xbox, would could have been a Gamecube, an indistinguishable package that may or may not be a Game Boy Advance and what, given a healthy leap of imagination, could be a mobile phone. Art from Gamecube adventure Kameo, Game Boy Advance update Sabre Wulf and a pic of Joanna Dark finished the card - apart from the tree with the words, "And surprises under every tree".
It\'s a joke. Unwrapping the imaginary mobile phone under Rare\'s tree, we called the developer and obtained the following comment. "We are not working on any Xbox games or any games on other formats other than Nintendo hardware at this time," said a spokesperson. "It\'s a mountain out of a molehill."

Party pooper.
-
It doesn\'t take someone brilliant to deduce that Rare wouldn\'t be going multi-platform. They are a second party developer for Nintendo, correct? Nintendo is in no finanical situations where they would lose a developer and Rare already has plenty of projects in progress for the GameCube - so why would they go mulit-platform? They wouldn\'t.
I don\'t know, I thought the image was fairly obvious. It was Rare\'s way of just saying happy holidays and no matter what system you own or get this christmas, enjoy it.
Not to mention its damn good PR..

I agree with Joe Lieberman to ban all FPS games because it\'s a menace to our society....
(well, Lieberman never said that, but when he says it, I agree with him..:)
-
ummm anyone even notice how badly you can see that the logos were cut out and pasted
and also so was the bottom letters
just saying it was quite obivious when i first saw it
