For some reason is says read disk error. Why can it not read the disk? Its just a normal disk with a brush on it. ARGH!!!

You\'re trying to clean your lense, I take it, with a CD cleaning kit.
I hope you are not upset when you get a disk read error when you run the cleaning disc, because they don\'t have any data on them (obviously).
Personally I use cotton swabs real easy-like on the optics of a CD lense with isopropyl (technical) alcohol. If dust is loose elsewhere inside I use a can of dust-off to get it out.
I\'ve seen guys swap drive units on Playstation ONEs, makes me wonder why such a thing cannot be done on a PS2...
