Ok, earlier today, i\'m sat in the lounge playin pro evoloution soccer, and my mum comes in, and turns off the TV and tells me to do some work towards my degree - yeah whatever! Anyway, i get up, turn it back on whilst slightly nudging her out of the way. She dramatically falls over, kicking my PS2 into a wall. I restart it, and Pro Evo wont load. I take it out and it was totally scratched to $hit. I had a go at her, she went mental, so i pushed her again for a laugh. I am currently holding my wrecked Pro evo disc, she hits back at me, AND CRACKS THE F**KER IN HALF.
I am far from happy. She is now saying it was my fault for pushing her and wont get me a new copy. Luckily, my PS2 is working ok at the moment. If it wasnt, i\'d probably be sat in a cell down the cop shop right now.......
Just as long as it works for THPS3 and J&D on xmas day, I\'ll be ok, as for pro evo, i might just rob her for it!
-
well, I´m sure you deserved it
just kiddding I bet she will give you a new copy when she is back to normal.
-
I agree with your mom. Shouldda done as you were told, and your disk wouldn\'t have been scratched or broken. That\'s what you get for being disrespectful. In fact.. I kinda wish your PS2 had broken as well.

Yea man, I agree w/ you.
What kind of person pushes their mom because of a videogame?
-
WOW is everything ok? Damn go easy.
-
damn bro...and I thought I fight with my mom a lot ( but don\'t really push her or anything like that, just plan words fight), next time don\'t do it man...I\'m not sayin\' you should do what your mom told you to, but at least don\'t push her man.
a game\'s just a game, you can replace it with 50 bucks
but a mom? you only get one in a life time.
-
You pushed your mom over a damn game?
Man, you\'re a damn idiot...
-
You shouldn\'t push your mum but I see were your coming from if i was playing a game and my mum started id get pissed but then my mum dont tell me what to do coz i dont listen so we get on just fine. She\'ll probally get you a new disk if not Id porn one of her rings and buy a couple of new games :)

This thread is a perfect example of why games are blamed on violence / inproper conduct. So far, we\'ve had members endorse violence against parents , stealing from parents and even pawning someone\'s personal items ...all because of a videogame!
May your PS2\'s break and your gaming days be over.

If I was your mom, or better yet.. if I was your dad I would of beat the living **** out of you for pushing your mother! I thought arguing with my mom is bad.. I NEVER push her. Id get my ass whooped.

I think you guys are mis-interpreting what he typed. From what I read I get the feelin he didn\'t actually \'push\' her with his hands, rather the gentle push you do with your forearm when you want someone out of the way, if you get what I mean
-
Lean and Mean and The Rickster, you are both made for eachother. A couple of stupid morons who show no respect for those who brought you into this world and other elders. I don\'t understand what makes you people think that your behavior is perfectly alright and then expect gifts for your stupidity, but I can guarantee that later in life, there will be people who won\'t put up with your crap and they WILL teach you one big lesson you will never forget. I just wish I could be the one to do it\\be there to see it happen.
You are both truly representatives of the decay of society and I pity you both for even existing on this planet.
[edit] Re-opened so other members can give their opinions of your dumb asses.

I was ****ing joking so dont call me a moron you jumped up prat.
And I\'d love you to teach me a lesson, you wouldn\'t talk **** about me in real life.

Who does that? Ever?

That\'s really messed up. I feel sorry for your mom more than you.
Mellow out man, like my mom says, "Their just a bunch of moving dots"
:)
-
I see were your coming from if i was playing a game and my mum started id get pissed but then my mum dont tell me what to do coz i dont listen
You were kidding there? Really? Were you kidding here too?
its getting good at school now coz every teacher has givin up on making me good so i get away with everything. i do no homework, no coursework and best of all i can swear at every ****ing teacher and they dont do ****
You don\'t respect anything at all and when people tell you how stupid you are for doing that, you shrug it off and think it\'s perfectly alright. Now, when the tough really gets going and I really get in your face verbally for your stupidity, you suddenly say "oh, in real life, you\'re just all talk."
Here\'s a little taste of reality: Assholes don\'t get very far unless they are really good at something. Wrestling is not the best sport on Earth. Games are good to get away from reality, but getting pissed off over them because your mom wants you to do a small favor for her is not the best attitude to have with someone who gave you life. Teachers are there to teach you lessons in life and if you don\'t listen to them and try and learn something, you turn into a total moron and lose proper ways of expressing yourself verbally and through type, as you have demonstrated multiple times here.
That little piece of advice was free little boy, but next time, please, think before you speak or type. It\'s your stupid antics that get you in trouble and it\'s your total disrespect for what you have and others around you that makes people hate you. Just be a little bit more sensible and stop being such a moron.
Believe me, it\'s not that hard to stop being such a stupid jerk.
-
(NOTE TO SELF: Don\'t piss off Ryu.)
-
The only time I touch my mom is to hold her hand to steady her balance when she gets out of the van, or put my arm around her as we walk my dogs or give her a kiss hello or goodbye. I respect my mother very much. Even when she nags.
You should be ashamed.
Now....since it\'s almost Christmas, you just made the holiday a sour time for your mum. Especially when she takes the time to buy YOU a present.
-
It\'s lame pushing your mother. Single words for that.. Coward, Moron, D@#KHEAD.
It\'s simple. Do what your told. Nothing happens.
The_Rickster your a idiot. If i saw u do that. I would make sure you will be brushing your teeth through your arse.
What ever happen to your cd was your own fault. Should have done what your were told from the START.
-
Guys , calm down. I think you\'re misunderstanding him. He didn\'t push her as in PUSH. He just slightly pushed her to joke around. He didnt mean any harm or insult by it.
-
The actions taken by the thread starter are so pathetic, that words on this post cannot describe it. Your PS2 should have hit your TV, shattering both the screen and the PS2.

Weither he did it out of a joke or not, Rishi, isn\'t the point. The point is that parents (as some of the members of this forum are) deserve respect for what they\'ve given to their children. Which in most cases is about 20 - 30 years of their lives, busting their asses in some shyt job just so they can GIVE their children a good home, a proper education, food, clothing, entertainment, the opertunity to be something more than what they were... and then also spend most of their free time looking after the children, taking them to after school activities, watching out for them, bailing them out when their in trouble. I mean, you litterally have to live for someone else.. expecially when the child is young.
All of our parents derserve more than that bullshyt that Rickster pulled. Alot more. It\'s a slap in the face to everything they\'ve given up for you when you pull that kinda shyt. Maybe I\'m not making this clear enough, but even so.. you\'ll understand someday when you have kids of your own.
This goes to Lean and Mean too. You don\'t go into a synagog and joke about the holocaust, or give a suicidal man a loaded revolver with a sandwich wedged on the barrel. Nothing in his post led the reader to believe that this spat between him and his mom was made out of friendly jest. It may have been a joke to you, but to him.. that\'s an option he will probably take seriously since he obviously already has no respect for his mom.
As Ryu said.. think before you post.
-
Ok sorry if what i said sounded worse than what it did in my head. I love my mum and never have pushed or hit her, I hardly even argue with her, and I didnt try and make it seem like i agreed with his actions coz i DONT. Oh RYU its not a good idea to cool me or anyone a moron coz you might be trying to get a good point across but calling somone a moron shows lack of respect for them and they wont listen to your point it just pisses them off. so make the point but leave out the insults ;) . But with teachers I dont respect them coz they show me no respect, I hate school and have always hated it so Im not gonna change and I dont think wrestling is a sport its entertainment and i have skills and im predicted to pass a few of my exams so im not to bothered. And finally coz my fingers hert, im not a little boy, im far from little.
-
coz they show me no respect
perhaps if you properly spoke the queen\'s english, they would show you some respect
:)
-
I do at school, but this is a forum I dont need to speak the queens english or well type the queens english

Not only did The_Rickster show absolute disrespect for his mum, he\'s gone further to prove to me just why my wife and I have no interest in bringing children into this world as exemplified below...

So, what you\'re saying is, "Not only do I have no respect for my mum, her authority over me while I live [I am assuming your mum grants you food and shelter?] and her desire for me to better myself...but she BETTER have THPS3 and J&D under the f^ckin\' Christmas tree for me cuz I\'m one ungrateful brat piece-\'o-sh!t kid." Jeez, grow up...
I hate most kids...plain & simple.  [In fact, that just might be a great new sig for me -- after I get out of the Christmas Spirit & remove my current sig...].

I think you guys have taken this a bit wrong!!
It ant as if I\'m a 12 yr old in a tantrum! At first, I nudged her so i could turn the tv on, and she basically kickd my ps2 against a wall cos shes all wound up about xmas. NUDGED!! anyone in a better mood would\'nt have been moved. So she kicked my ps2 against a wall. I paid a sh*t load for that, and the guarantee is up now, so i was a bit pissed off, as you would be!!! Anyways she broke a game and i cant afford it, never mind a replacement. Dont criticise me, you werent there.
I thank those who stuck by me through this. You\'d be glad to know she has now apologised, admitted it was her fault, and is buying me a new copy
PS - W1ngman, i aint even gettin those games of my mum, my gf has got me them. I am thinkin you wont have kids, because you know they will tun out like you. nuff said
-
the name of this thread alone is offensive.
and if your mom is feeling crappy...sit her in front of your computer and show her this thread so she knows that there are kids out there who adore their mothers.
Grow up man.
And no...i\'m not happy to know that she is buying you a new game, in fact its rather quite sad.
All she wanted you to do (if I read correctly) was get up and work on some school work.
-
You dont know what its like for me tho!!!! I live at home (and pay) for only 6 weks a year. When i am at home, she is on my back all the time, really winds me up. I know the title of this thread is bad, i\'d change it if i could, but i was just really annoyed at the time.
But as i said, its sorted now, and i love my mum!!
-
I tried to stay out of this thread but hay I can\'t resist.
Anyway I don\'t think its our place to judge on this situation. A lot of you have jumped on Ricky\'s case when you wasn\'t even there.
Fair enough if he agressivily shooved her over to cause pain then that would be v.bad but as far as I can tell it was nothing more than a little tiff. His mum tells him to switch his ps2 off, he doesn\'t (and come on guys you don\'t all do what your mums say all the time), he switches it back on nudging her to do so and she boots it against the wall. If you ask me its her who needed the anger management classes and if my mum booted my PS2 against my wall then hell I would be pissed off too.
So thats another way of looking at this.
I don\'t know what happened but you shouldn\'t all jump down his throat and judge him on a paragraph of text. All im saying is we don\'t have all the facts.
-
Cheers rich, appreciate it!! Guess us Brits are alone on this one!!

Just seen this appeared.
Yeah my mum gets on my back sometimes really anonying. Its not so bad now I live away from home. All mums get on their kids backs from time to time. Its cool.
Also im sure you do love your mum, no need to justify it here. Anyone who thinks you don\'t from that thread you wrote needs their head checked. :)

well the way i see it if he didnt want us to come in here and back up his decision or go against it then he should not have posted his personal life for all the world to see on the freaking internet
why do people share something and then ***** when it doesnt go their way - i mean if he doesbt want to hear all this then maybe he should have kept it to himself
makes sense to me
-
Oh RYU its not a good idea to cool me or anyone a moron coz you might be trying to get a good point across but calling somone a moron shows lack of respect for them and they wont listen to your point it just pisses them off.
I don\'t respect you, why should I type or speak as if I do? You don\'t respect teachers or your mother and you expect a total stranger, who knows of only those two redeeming qualities about you, to show you respect? Like asking a gorilla to love you even though you stuck an electric rod up his butt for an hour.
I hate school and have always hated it so Im not gonna change
That\'s your problem. You can hate the school all you want, but the teachers are just trying to educate you so they can ensure that the world will have a better future. However, if they can\'t teach an idiot like yourself a small thing such as respect, then I have no hope for the future. I can only pray my kids never end up like you.
It ant as if I\'m a 12 yr old in a tantrum! At first, I nudged her so i could turn the tv on, and she basically kickd my ps2 against a wall cos shes all wound up about xmas. NUDGED!!
A nudge, a push, a slap in the face, it\'s all the same to me. Any negative contact towards your mother when she is just trying to get you to do some work for your future is unacceptable. She obviously cares a great deal about you and your future and you disrespected her by ignoring her wishes, however small they were. How hard is it to turn off a stupid game and do as she says? As Vapor said, it\'s just a bunch of moving dots.
So she kicked my ps2 against a wall. I paid a sh*t load for that, and the guarantee is up now, so i was a bit pissed off, as you would be!!!
Put yourself in your mother\'s shoes. You just asked your son, your own flesh and blood, to work on some homework so they will have a better future. Now picture your son disobeying you and basically saying "F*ck you" right to your face by pushing you aside and going to turn the TV back on. If I was in her shoes, I would have punted that PS2 right out the damn window and teach you the valuable lesson of respect. You don\'t blatantly go against her wishes over a stupid game. You do whatever the hell she says, especially when it involves your future and making a better life for yourself.
Dont criticise me, you werent there.
Then maybe you should have made the situation more clear, but from what I get from it, you pushed your mom because she asked you to do some homework and all you wanted to do was play a videogame. That sounds pretty idiotic to me and I will criticize you for it.
Secondly, you posted this on a public forum for all to read with a thread topic stating that you wanted to kill your mother. Anyone can reply to this with their opinion and criticize you for whatever the reason they want to. That\'s the whole point of this place, to discuss the topics in the thread. Your topic was one I felt strongly against and I let you have it. You didn\'t want our opinion, then you should have kept the information to yourself.
You dont know what its like for me tho!!!!
We judge you by your actions and we know only your side of the story. Hell, for your mom, it may be the second circle of hell for her, but we can\'t read what she thinks about the whole situation because if she saw what you typed in here, she\'d prolly throw something else of yours out the window of a moving car in a little ziploc bag. Case in point, again, as stated above, we judge you by your actions.
Anyway I don\'t think its our place to judge on this situation.
The hell it isn\'t. If he didn\'t want out opinions, then he would not have posted this for all to read. He obviously expected lots of positive feedback reinforcing his situation, which is why he is thanking those who responded kindly to him agreeing with his actions and told those who disagreed with him that it\'s "not our place to judge him." Pretty crappy way of dealing with things in a public place.
if my mum booted my PS2 against my wall then hell I would be pissed off too.
We all would be upset, but as far as I can tell from the majority of people who responded here, none of us would blatantly tell our mothers to screw off by completely ignoring her. She asked him to do one simple thing and he didn\'t. That\'s his fault right there, what happened afterwards just made it all worse.
I don\'t know what happened but you shouldn\'t all jump down his throat and judge him on a paragraph of text. All im saying is we don\'t have all the facts.
You\'re right. I\'d like to hear his mother\'s perspective on this. I\'d like to hear how it feels to have your son reject your wishes and ignore your requests in favor of a videogame.
Cheers rich, appreciate it!! Guess us Brits are alone on this one!!
Oh please. Going to make this thing a whole "us vs them" debate or something? Complete bull.
-
Whoa what a reply.
He obviously expected lots of positive feedback reinforcing his situation, which is why he is thanking those who responded kindly to him agreeing with his actions and told those who disagreed with him that it\'s "not our place to judge him." Pretty crappy way of dealing with things in a public place.
Thats a bit off the mark. I for one haven\'t agreed with his actions. The whole point of my thread is to highlight the point that we don\'t really know what his actions were, a paragraph of text doesn\'t say much, nudge can be a friendly tap, to a full blown hurl on the floor etc.
I think if anything the reason he thanked me is because a lot of people have been very harsh. Some of the comments said go way below the belt.
We all would be upset, but as far as I can tell from the majority of people who responded here, none of us would blatantly tell our mothers to screw off by completely ignoring her. She asked him to do one simple thing and he didn\'t. That\'s his fault right there, what happened afterwards just made it all worse.
Well we don\'t really know what happened afterwards and as for him ignoring this "simple" thing his mother asked him to do then yeah ok its not good but I mean come on give the guy a break. His mum told him to quit playing and do some work, he ignored her. Its not the end of the world. I mean your living in a fantasy land if you believe everyone obeys what their mums say without question and never ever get into tiffs with them. I personally have had loads of little arguments with my mum through my years.
Also you point out his mum was trying to help his future by telling him not play games. Ok that helps your argument but comments can be said like that all the time. For example a mother might say don\'t stay out till after 10pm to their child, because she believes its unsafe and they may get into an argument etc. What im trying to say is when would a mother tell you to do something which wasn\'t in your best interest!?
You make it out as though Rickster\'s mother was completly trying to do the right thing and help him to do work and Rickster was completly in the wrong. In my opinion this is bull, it normally takes two to cause an argument and by the sounds of it if she switched the TV off on him rather than asking him to stop playing it sounds like they were both in a mood and an argument was inevitable. Its not like his mother walked in the room and said "please could you stop playing the video game" and then Rickster got up showed her over and continued playing. I mean for her to kick his PS2 she must have been in a mood to begin with which would have got Rickster also angry.
-----
I dunno it seems to me they had an argument Rickster was anonyed posted it here (PS2 revelence) and that was that. Ok the way he worded it sounded bad but I don\'t think its much more than a tiff and freedom of speech / forum rules / whatever some of the comments sent his way wasn\'t called for.
PS - Sorry for writing so much but I didn\'t want to check over and consise it, I just wanted to get out what I wanted to say. :)
----SHORT VERSION----
Parents should be respected but everyone has disagreements and arguments with their parents at sometime. I think that Rickster has had one of these and some of the comments sent his way were uncalled for.

Maybe, but I grew up in a home where I never so much as raised a voice against my parents...much less a hand. And while I hung with kids that gave their parents sh!t all the time, I did not subscribe to such behavior. I wasn\'t a sheltered kid...just respectful. I don\'t find your post (appreciably hot-headed for the moment that it was written) respectful of your place as a son -- of any age -- under his parent\'s roof. Period.
...Dont criticise me, you werent there...
You invited me to "critique" your behavior when you mentioned offing your mum because she broke a $50 game. See, over here "on this side of the pond"...dumba$$ kids off their parents for stoopid sh!t like you experienced nearly daily. Do you think I appreciate that kind of literal violence in my life, on my tele, in my soul. \'ell no! And I don\'t appreciate viewing posts that espose such violence either.
...You\'d be glad to know she has now apologised, admitted it was her fault, and is buying me a new copy...
Hmm...so you share no blame in these events whatsoever. All about mum being wrong and you being right, huh?
...PS - W1ngman, i aint even gettin those games of my mum, my gf has got me them. I am thinkin you wont have kids, because you know they will tun out like you. nuff said ...
My apology to you for assuming those games were to be gifts from your mother. I was wrong for that and I am sorry. As far as [were I to have kids] "...they will turn out like [me]". GOOD! That means they would have studied in school, gone onto college and made a respectable life for themselves, and offered love and attention to those that cared about them...sounds like I would have "turned out" one or two fine, decent, upstanding, kids... Nuff said, right backatcha.

EmperorRob, thanks to your comment I have just sprayed my drink all over my keyboard :p
I think these two guys are a bit fustrated and desperate. From the few post I have read from you two I can say that you are the biggest ****heads on this forum.

Well then your mom is a source of the problem. Why should she apologize? She told you to do something, do it. And now she\'s buying you a new copy?? Ugh.

Why do we even allow morons like these two to even post here? I swear...I wonder sometimes.
