Title: So how many of you have health problems?
Post by: Redwolf on December 22, 2001, 06:16:33 PM
I\'ve got two different heart conditions.  Mitral Valve Prolapse (mitral valve which is one of the main valves in your heart) my mitral valve is a little loose and doesn\'t close all the way like it should when my heart beats.  My condition also causes PSVT which is a form of tachacardyia (spelling).  My heart doesn\'t beat like it\'s supposed to, strage abnormal rythms which can be dangerous....i.e. I could pass out, or even die.  I take medication which controls my abnormal rythms and helps take the strain off my mitral valve.  That\'s my health problem, anyone else?

I have something similar with my heart. One of the valves is a bit too long and doesn`t fit right. But it causes no major problem (so far?).
My main problem is a damaged disk in my back. It tends to jump out and press on my nerve every two years.

I have this problem with "being fat." It\'s apparently a very common condition that causes symptoms such as "slowness" and "lack of girlfriend."

That was funny stuff, lol.

I don\'t have any health problems that I know of. My mom has dormant tuberculosis. She\'s getting treated though.

I have athesma. Kinda grew out of it as I got older, but not completely. I no longer take Singulair and I can forget my Inhaler at home without having to worry about death by suffocation. Only occassionally when it\'s really dusty or when I strech my lungs (laughing, excersizing) that it kicks in. Even then it\'s more of an annoyance than any kind of threat to my heath.

We all have some crap at one time in our lives or another, including me.  Hope your condition doesn\'t keep you from doing what you want to do, Redwolf.

Being fat isn\'t bad.. It\'s just that you have to know the right people and you\'ll get the chicks.. But that only applies if you are in high school or a rock star. :)

I have asthma, i think. Haven\'t had a problem for a couple of years. Either I grew out of it or it is dormant right now. It runs in my family and everyone seemed to grow out of it.

I\'m diagnosed Bi-Polar / Obsessive Compulsive.

I also have a high chance of developing cancer, as it runs in my family. Also a rare blood disorder (wangers-grandalotis - spell check!) runs in the male side of my family. It generally skips one generation though, so it should skip me (my father has it).
