I just got the special edition of Edge(uk) with the last 100 game reviews from the last 100 issues, and I saw Temptest 3000 for a console called the Nuon, released 2001...what was the console, and what happened to it? (Might be nice in my collection;) )

Nuon is not a console! Nuon is actually an enhanced DVD chipset that allows 20x zoom and other features. It also plays certain games , such as Temptest 3000. If you want a NUON , all you need to do is go by a new DVD player and make sure it is NUON enhanced or what not. Beware though, there won\'t be many games ever released for it. Though, Temptest 3000 is worth the price of admission alone.

Thanks........
Shame really.......I was getting all excited at the thought of having a strange, rare, unpopular console!

Strange, rare, unpopular consoles suck 90% of the time. Now, there\'s strange consoles that have been good. There\'s rare consoles that are good. There\'s unpopular consoles that are good. But combine those three... icky.
