I got it thinking id be able to put my huge runs together like i did on the pc thps2 but its not happening my best score is 60,000 when i need upto 500,000 i know all the tricks they tell you when you pause i have alot of added ability points but i just cant put the " sick " runs together is there anyone knows that can help, is there other tricks the game dont tell you or tactics ive only had about 4 hrs practise and im on level 5 i think but not all objectiveds are complete . .. also competions on my first comp i can only get 3rd any tips

find a pool or something you can grind and not fall off it has to keep going around and around and then do your special grind like hand stand and grind it untill you det you score. have fun

The key is to revert(R2) after your big airs. Then extend that into a manual, kickflip, manual, then go for another big air.

The key for me is grinding like a Jenna Jameson and connect them all with manuals (up down before you hit the ground). You can usually link together huge amouts of points with this.

Phew I thought it was going to be a message along the lines of my Tony Hawks 3 disc doesn\'t work. Which would have worried me because I haven\'t tried mine yet.
Then I released it was about the game and skipped the text because I don\'t want to spoil it for myself. :)

Well now my best score is 207,000 so Im getting better.

My highest score is somewhere around 800,000. The key is manualing.

people say that but it slows you down and i cant carry on with other tricks . . also how do you do grinding special tricks it dont tell you when you pause it.

Yea it does... after you pause it, go to edit tricks, then to special. It tells you what tricks and how to do them. Good luck. Were gonna go head to head someday online so prepare yourself. ;)

No doubt, is it the grind tricks the same as lip tricks coz i cant see special grinds.

The key is rotations (get a 900 degree at the start) then combine grinds, lip tricks, and manuals. Be sure to link everything together with reverts and special manuals and go for lots of gap bonus\'s. You could also end it off with special manuals like the casper flip....but that is classed as a bug for some high ranking players like me :-)
Just keep trying and you will one day get up to the 20 million point runs just like me :-)
(biggest trick for me was a 12 mil three times around tokyo grind/manual a thon)

Yes, you guys are right the ****ing manuals rule. Ive completed another 4 point based objectives and I went from Bronze medal to silver medal, so thanks guys your rule :) . . . . Any more words of wisdom

on the los angeles level how do you start the earthquake and stop the car chase

Right when you start the level, theres a building strait in front of you. Theres four rails on each side of the building that you have to grind(actually theres one that goes strait through but the others are outside), which starts the earthquake. Youll know if its the right rails. That will also stop the car chase.

That only causes the earthquake. After the earthquake, you need to get yourself on top of the bridge and grind the side of it where a green car it teetering on the edge. The car will fall off and you will stop the chase.

I actually completed the earthquake objective a couple of hours after posting on my own but I still couldn\'t do the car chase so thanks I\'ll try that later.` . . . . I\'ve actually got alot further I\'ve opened all the levels and only have about 7 objective to do to complete the whole game . .. . and then I\'ll have to do it another sh*t load of times :)

My highest score is 12.000.000 but there\'s more potential I suppose. I hope that tony hawk 4 will have a REAL online support!

what level are you pulling these huge scores on ? i still cant get more than 300,00 and i need atleast 500,00

Do you combo twice. Im sure you will have time for it as long as you get to it right away.

At first I grind so I get more speed for the following big airs, then reverts and manuals, grind again, big airs........
the best levels for high scores are LA and Tokyo because in this levels you can grind arround the whole area but there are quarter pipes, too.

You know that code too? I\'d like to see someone pull that off without using this cheat BACKDOOR and see how much they can get...mine only large combo was 21,000:( I\'m so ashamed.:eek:

i hit 600,000 the other day in the RIO tourney, ended up with a 9.9 score :(
