This latest concept vehicle from Hennessey Motorsports melds the PT
Cruiser with a mid-engine Venom 650R V10 Viper engine, thus creating
the Hennessey PT CRUSHER.
If produced, the 2-seat CRUSHER will incorporate a sequential 6-speed
transmission aft of the monsterous V10. Also included would be a
race-inspired suspension utilizing QRS shocks and springs. Massive
Brembo brakes would also be utilized on all 4 corners. Pricing for the
CRUSHER would exceed $200,000 US Dollars with production limited to
just 25 units.
As its name implies, the PT CRUSHER will have the power to weight
ratio to rival the performance of some of the world\'s top sports cars. A
projected 0-60 mph time of under 3.5 sec is possilbe based on the sub
6:1 power to weight ratio
Wouldnt this be fun to drive :D

Picture doesn\'t work. A Venom engine in a PT Cruiser body. I don\'t like the Cruiser but if I see a pic I might like it.
-
Although I cant see the pic I do think Ive seen it before, but they called it the PT Bruiser.

They have big plans for this PT Cruiser. I have heard that the PT Bruiser is a more suped up model w/ spoiler etc. and they are also making a wood-paneled version.

the "woody" one is an option thats already available to my knowledge, or soon to be an option.
the GT Cruiser is also comming out next year, a turbo version
possibly a convertible 2dr version, and another option for hood and side flames.
lemme see if I can find some pics of each.
**EDIT** okiee..here are a few GT Cruiser pics, one of the test mules
sorry, no under hood shots

You misundetstood me luckee. I NEVER seen the pic, so how do I know what car it was. I wasnt trying to correct you. I was just saying I thought I know what car your talking about, and Ive heard of a super-mod\'d PT named the Bruiser.
-
PTB:OKiee :)..makes sense, we\'re cool, no hard feelins :)
-
Chrysler is getting way too carried away with this PT Cruiser. Sure it\'s a "cute" car but now they have so many different versions of it. It\'s starting to get annoying.
-
IMO, the PT Cruiser is played out.
Whenever I think of it, I see the new beetle... bleh
-
Everyone who has driven it says it handles like a Minivan and has no business being called a Cruiser. Unless they do some serious suspension work, it\'s looks are still what\'s gonna sell to the moms & dads and not the car enthusiasts.

It does NOT handle like a mini-van, while its not miata, it certainly doesnt handle like a mini-van. It\'s based of of the neon chasiss, which handles like a dream.(autox)
