Okay, I\'m really a big fan of being nice to everyone regardless of how many times we end up answering the same questions, but there is also a responsibillity on the person asking the question to actually browse the f.a.q. before forcing us to read and answer such said question.

This way we all suffer equally no?  So here we go... taken directly from the f.a.q. found on this website:

Quote
Q: Can I use my PSX controllers and memory cards for the PS2?

A: Yes, the PS2 supports all official PSX peripherals.

Q: Can I save psx games on a ps2 card? How about ps2 games on a psx card?

A: You can only save psx games to a psx card, and ps2 games to a ps2 card.

So there you go!
