Ultimately what you’ll reap from this game comes down to how offended you are by its content. Aimed squarely at an adult audience it may be, it makes no allowances for the Christian gamer. Unquestionably there is a fine, exciting game lurking underneath all the depravity on top, but it’s a personal decision whether or not committing so many virtual sins is worth the unique gaming excitement only "GTA3" can offer.

i stand corrected their "problem" with GT3 was with the sound track
so i sent in a comment and have to wait to see if they post it on the site.....

GT3 Sound track .......offensive ?
are you sure we are playing the same game ?
the sound track although coupled with a Few questionable choices of tracks ( i don\'t like radiohead and think the lead singer can\'t sing) was chosen to inspire the a sense of the race also you can barely hear it what with the noise of the realistic engine sounds an all
a bit harsh on that point.
every car was recorded from its real life version, the body work for each car took 2 weeks to model and what’s more there no blood (and amazing for a best seller these days)
also I am a moderator at a well known Playstation 2 site , I am hurt that you only gave it 4 out of 5 for game play
it\'s clearly a 5 !
please correct this and maybe you could say the music could offend but you can switch it off and just have the sound effects on and give this game full marks.

For some strange reason DIABLO 2 didn\'t do very well at all.
Also the Giga Consept of basiclly all the Final Fantasy games has got the "goat" to.
better hope they didn\'t go and see the film ;)

Jak and Daxter Sony Sony lost Crash Bandicoot as a potential mascot. This may be their choice.
Tarzan Ubi Soft Think of skate boarding in the jungle.
Tony Hawk 3 Neversoft Sony is really pushing this title. Tony himself was here at E3 as well as a full invert half pipe where skaters and bikers showed their stuff to the delights of the crowd.

Devil May Cry Capcom Your kids are going to literally beg you to get them this title. Take a good look at it before you do.

esident Evil Capcom The Resident Evil franchise is extremely popular and I suspect that this will continue on the PS2.
Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty Konami I watched in horror the press promotional trailer for this game. Although it was am awesome display of animation, I could not shake the extreme violence and gore that it seemed to glorify.
Mortal Kombat 5 Midway Although this was not at E3, I would like to add it here to let you know that another MK installment is down the road. Won\'t this title ever go away?
FINAL COMMENTS
The PS2 had the most games at E3 and will most likely have the most games available in November when the XBOX, and Gamecube launch within 3 days of each other. This fact will make it a tempting buy.
The PS2 by far had the most horrific titles at E3. Just realize that with most systems, you can find that "diamond in the rough" game that is suitable for Christians and that provide quality entertainment the whole family can enjoy. With the PS2, you will just have to look a little harder.

I hope that site is a joke. But either way, it\'s an example of the type of people I really don\'t like: the overly Christian people. The type that always make a point of letting you know they\'re Christian, won\'t look at violent TV shows because they\'re Christian, won\'t do this, won\'t do that... they are quite a pain.

This system rocks. For Christians this is the unit to get. I know that all of the games are not perfectly family friendly, but of all of the game manufactures, {blank}seems to have the family and family values at the heart of their focus. Hold on now before you get too excited. This time around, {blank}is going to try and shake their "kiddie" image in efforts to make a splash with college kids and young adults. In fact, the cash bovine {blank}, was barely even present at E3. You will see in the coming months, {blank}market games that they would not have in the past. You will also most likely see a marketing campaign that is more gritty. I would not let this detract you all that much for two reasons. First, the other systems will be worse and secondly, {blank} has NEVER marketed their adult titles to kids or anything that kids would typically get their hands on. In fact, you can not even get to them on {blank}.
I respect that.
{blank}, arrogant as always, swaggered its way with lackluster fanfare and limited game titles into the biggest gaming convention in the world during the most pivotal and competitive gaming system generation of all time, and walked away the overwhelming favorite; it didn\'t even break a sweat.

I am sure these guys are going to heaven but we are going to hell because we play MGS2,DMC,RE etc.
Bah.I see people that go to church and pretend they deticate their lives to God.But they are the biggest hypocrites in the world.They even fool theirselves.
Besides.Isnt it a good thing to kill devils,zombies,satans in games??I mean,hey we many times want to kick satans ass.And we can express this in games.Arent we with the God\'s site?

man these proably the same people who said dbz was santanic and pokemon is eviel well if you look for eviel you will find it and yes i am a christian and proably wouldnt buy the game because i have small children dont want them think its ok to do those things but its every ones right to choose to play or not

I think I\'ve worked out why GT3 is classed as slightly offensive in christian rating for gameplay.
If you play it on a sunday, that would make sense!!! Hell, I\'m playing it right now, guess its people like me that cause these gameplay ratings to drop!!!

Umm, Since when have the Taliban started becoming game reviewers? Seriously tho, I wonder if they know that even god plays Everquest? I\'m sure if he ever met them online he\'d end up massacring their characters and then sayin, "Lighten up.. it\'s just a fukkin game people. All I ask is that you love, respect, and acknowlage me.. there\'s no need to get anal about it. Sheesh."
